Topic: I just realized that my ascendant is actually leo not cancer!!!!

jupitersgirl,I think you are a Cancer rising, with your Sun (self-expression) in the 5th house (self-expression). Leo is associated with the Sun. Also your South node (the past) is focused in the 5th house. Your Sun also trines (energy goes easily with) your Midheaven (outer world). jupitersgirl,I tried an experiment. I entered your date on every free astrology site that automatically calculates Daylight Savings Time I could find and they all came up with a Cancer Ascendant. However, when I used a site that forced me to choose whether or not to use DST, I found out that if I didn't use DST, the Ascendant was Leo. And your birth date didn't seem to be during DST. So now I am confused. Final word:

I'm also confused...If this confusion continues, I'm going to post all my pictures and make people guess my rising sign. In astro.com it says it calculates the daylight saving time but still it takes it as +3 gmt whereas istanbul is +2gmt in the winter, so I don't know...IP: Logged |

jupitersgirl!!!!! I thought it was weird that asto.com put the time zone as +3 GMT instead of +2 so I did some searching and guess what. In the year you were born Istanbul didn't have any daylight saving changes, so the time zone stayed +3 UTC the whole year! funny huh

* jupitersgirl *.. if you want to figure it yourself ..
keep an eye on the faster moving planets as they transit those potential angles .. i.e. your Asc or Mc ..
there is often a noticable difference in 'feel' as a planet transits thru the 12th house then hits the ascendant ..
watch the moon's transits as they are the fastest .. you should note a difference when it hits by conjunction your ascendant or mc .. .. the moon just hit my ascendant and i can deffinitely feel the difference .. ...... ~ HD ~......
