Ther used to be a nice albiet brief page on the web about the panets conjuncting nodes in synastry, but it's gone now. Does anyone else have a link to another site? Ot a good book they can recommend?

I have one book, about relationships and synastry, but its info is pretty pithy.

I'm looking for info on these specifc synastry aspects:

Sun conjunct South Node
Saturn conjunct South Node
Chiron conjunct South Node
Pluto conjunct Southe Node

Venus conjunct North Node
Moon conjunct North Node
Jupiter conjunct North Node
Chiron conjunct North Node

Thanks for any help!

Hi!

Interesting topic! I want to learn more about these as well.
See if you like this site: http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/relationshipastrologytips.html#nodesinsynastry

I can only share with you as aspect I've had with a girl: My North Node conjunct her Moon in Leo. I felt I needed to be more like her (warmer and more expansive, unlike my moon in capricorn) to feel more complete as a human being, but was at the same time scared to do so. My love for her was very deep and when she left me, I realized it was important for me to try to integrate those qualities into my identity. I believe these are inspirational aspects.

GN - Hi. Perhaps you have heard of Jan Spiller. She does good Node work, Michael Lutins' newest 'Sunshines' is fairly revelational, but does not go into aspects or Synastry. The person that has writen the best stuff [IMHO] is Martin Schulman. He has a series of small volumes packed with insight and info. His work [Schulman] is a trifle dated but very, very, good. Amazon has all of these used. Try Shulman first though for a thorough understanding of your NN-SN and how it relates to others. As with the natal chart, until we understand the big picture as a whole, only then can we disemble and integrate. Oh - BTW Schulman is heavy into Karma if you only flirt with the idea that Karma might actually exist and or happen you might be a little put off by his teaching.

I have Shulman's noded book (yes dated, and heavy on karma), but it doesn't cover synastry. That's what I'm really looking for - something that does more work with planet-node contacts in synastry.

I'll look at Spiller.

BTW does anyone know what you're suppose to do if you have your NN opposed to its house polarity? I have Aqua NN in the 5th, and most interps of either that sign or house placement contradict each other a lot, since they assume the same interp for sign and corresponding house, i.e. Leo/5th, Aqua, 11th. I mean, one say I need ot avoid center stage, whiel teh other says I need to strive to be center stage. LOL. No wonder I'm so confused!

just real quick to me it seems like it would be moving closer to the creativity of the group as a whole and away from you shining center stage where there were people involved working toward something larger than themselves [humantarian, etc], as in maybe you took too much attention away from the cause whereas now youd be more focused on the cause itself/or the group and the creativity as secondary [still necessary but not taking away from the larger issue and giving respect and due credit to everyone involved.]

rambling! oh and did zala's threads on the NN a while back help you at all?

Gemini Nymph,

I`m not sure I can interprete nodal aspects well, but I`ve become fascinated to them lately.
My Saturn falls exactly on the Southern Node of a guy and his Saturn conjuncts my Southern Node widely. I`ve read many very different interpretations of this one. One says it`s a sign of separation, the other says it`s a sign that you cannot separate and share a deep bond, that is pretty unbreakable.
I found out that both interpretations are true.
With that guy I`ve had some other nodal contacts going on like.
his Venus on my North node
his Ac on my North Node
My Eros on his Southern Node
My Antivertex on his Northern Node.

It surely feels very fated, that whole thing. And even though I broke up with him last year, I still can`t stop thinking about him. I mean I know it cannot work, and I really moved on, but I cannot ignore that I still feel some sort of connection. Maybe that is what the nodes do, create some sort of connection.

My wife's asteroid VALENTINE (447) conjuncts my True Node. My asteroid valentine conjuncts her True Node.
I feel that the True Node is highly relevant in synastry.
