Her Ascendant in exact conjunction with his Moon in Cancer. The ruler of her Ascendant -Moon is in exact conjunction with the ruler of his Ascendant, Mars in Virgo. (His Ascendant is Scorpio) Is there a part of sexual attraction too?

House overlays in the 1st (conjunct ASC) and most contacts with Mars normally indicate sexual attraction. So yes.IP: Logged |

Thanks for your both comments. It is always very interested to me when I see a conjunction of ruler planets in Synastry or a conjunction of rulers of Ascendant and Descendant in someone's chart. I think it has a special meaning.IP: Logged |

Also...They have a moon-mars conjuntion which can be an indicator physical attration. The moon is passive, receptive and soft while mars is dominating, pushes forward and is hard...this is in terms of energy type. Moon represents female, and mars represents male. I Think moon/mars are related to psysical attraction in much the same way as sun/moon and mars/venus(as well as sun/venus, venus/uranus, venus/pluto and mars/pluto). And mars/moon in particular tends to have primative kind of "me Tarzan, you Jane" feel. Sometimes moon/mars can be irritating because the moon can frustrate mars by being overly sensitive and indirect (mars likes directness), while the moon can feel overwhelmed by mars' forcefulness (it's like having your most sensitive, vulnerable side exposed to someone elses most rough, passionate side). The square is worst(moon would feel intimidated by mars), soft aspects tend to produce a fierce protectiveness, and the conjuntion is very intense and could go either way. Wow, I really went off on a tangent there. Anyway, the point is mars/moon=attraction often...when in the right CONTEXT. If one person is 5 and the other is 50 that would change things. But between non-related men and women at the right ages I would say Yes!! And attraction seems to occur regardless of which sex has the mars and which has the moon. If the man has the moon he may see the women (mars) as somthing of a tigress, and she'll be able to look right through to his vulnerable side and be touched by it. IP: Logged |

Are house rulerships important in synastry? My personal experience certainly indicates that they are. I once had a pretty big crush on a guy whose mars/venus conjunction trined my mercury...which happens to be the ruler of my Gemini Dsc. Taken by itself, with out the house rulership connections, the mercury aspect does not sound that exciting. There was other synastry involved complicating the situation as well. But my intuition tells me that the mercury aspect was important. IP: Logged |

In synastry I always pay special attention about mutual aspects (conjunctions or others)of rulers of someone's ascendant or descendants. There are realy nice stories about that but what I would like to find out is the influence of someone's destiny, of time frame, synchronicity etc... For example, two persons can have nice mutual aspects but are not fated to be together in a marriage,or even in a relationship.IP: Logged |

I agree with you on that especially when you have Moon/Moon(Moon asc), Venus/Venus(Venus asc), Jupiter/Jupiter(Jupiter asc)(an aggreviated Jupiter can lead to excessiveness)and even Mars/Mars(Mars asc) are really good for possible mutual sexual attraction. When the a planet is mutually aspected and on the ascendant double whammy that's hard to ignore. And Mercury/Mercury(Mercury asc) can lead to stimulated conversation ------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer I "FEEL" therefor I am IP: Logged |

their Ascendant rulers being conjunct is a soul mate connection. there are more (connections), look for the ruler of the descendant (his Saturn for her Cancer rising) to be conjunct her nadir. IP: Logged |

lalalinda and libraschoice7 Thanks for your comments.I already said, I am always very interested in charts where it is possible to see and to recognize destined partners, not just some possible partners... Sorry if I am a bit boring, but could you take time to read my post -new topic on February 21 : Astrology, Destiny, Sineastry and Synchronicity: what prevails? (writing mistake: Synastry) Maybe it would be better to send both charts? Please tell me if you need charts. I ask you to pay attention to that topic because I think there is more then synastry, something extremelly strange, even magical... I am sorry it is very long, but it was impossible to explan with few words.
