Asteroid Application Rules:
1) They are 10% effective compared to planets
2) Orbs should be 2 degrees for self chart and 1 degree for synastry
3) It is a waste of time to compare Asteroid of one theme with asteroid of another unless they represent the same effect.
Example: SIVA conjunct ANUBIS or OSIRIS has a valid meaning but SIVA conjunct HERA is senseless. HYGIEA conjunct HORUS is senseless but HYGIEA conjunct CHIRON or even SEKHMET has loads of meaning.

4) It is a waste of time to look at every asteroid in your chart. Instead, which theme vibes with you a lot, that theme's asteroid list should be very thoroughly investigated, right down to every planetary aspect and every Sabian Symbol degree. Sometimes, a new theme will vibe wth you, at that time explore the relevant asteroid list and transits to see why.

5) Name Asteroids can be very useful because Asteroids affect more through name frequency than gravity.
