Lately, 4 out of every 5 times,
when I flick a lightswitch on or off,
I get a sharp electric shock.
I can clearly see the blue tendrils of electricity,
and sometimes it is rather painful.

Has anyone else experienced this?

And/or can anyone tell me what else this might mean?

I thought it might have something to do with the air being dry, but it is not happening to anyone else in my house. Then I thought, I've been depressed lately, so, maybe I am shuffling my feet on the carpet when I walk, creating static. But it happens on wood floors too, and, besides, I wear rubber-soled shoes.

Am I just totally awesome, or what?

I would probably stay away from gas pumps, open flames, oxygen, etc!

Indeed. Never painful though. Lights flickering and sometimes going out completly too. Unruly hair...

Just a little wake up call perhaps!? You (all of us) are a con.duct'tor - 3) a thing that manages or transmits electricity, heat, etc. You probably have energy stored up in ya that is neutralizing/releasing in the form of a slightly painful charge/shock. Therefore to help with this imbalance of positive and negative charges you need some friction
Maybe also grounding yourself by carrying some of your favorite grounding stones/crystals?! Just some 'tongue n cheek' ideas.

Happens around here every winter..... but yes, you are totally awesome too I have cats, and my furry fellas are much more electric in the dry winter air. Whenever I touch doorknobs, metal cabinets, or even my car door after sliding out of my cloth-seat, I get shocks -- I think it might be Gaian more than Uranian.....
