Topic: Cancerian Maternal Instinct

Dear Knowflakes,
I have been kind of realizing in myself and in other Cancers I know that their maternal instinct, their drive to nurture and help others, is almost a compulsion, an addiction, and gets them and others into trouble. It continually puts them in positions [i.e. relationships] where they are comprimising themselves. They have such a need to heal people that they are drawn into relationships with people who are messed up and unstable, which in turn messes them up too, because they're so sensitive and susceptible to external influences....
I am mostly speaking of myself here, mind you. Is this a Cancerian thing, or does it more likely tied to my heavy 12th house influence?------------------

I wouldn't say it gets me in trouble but I do like to help people and most of the time I bend myself backwards to achieve whatever I am helping with, and that is not just my friends but my clients as well.
Now... with my clients I can say it does probably mess me up if I don't get the job done because then I feel worthless, I rather not get paid than have someone unhappy or feeling I promised something I couldn't accomplish, that is the worst thing ever to me!!!I almost put myself in their shoes and feel like them... it is strange.IP: Logged |

NAM, but then u have a heavy seventh house influence, so u r able to put yourself in their shoes.i hv a cancer asc, and do like to help ppl out (yeah, bending over backwards at times), and i hv a heavy seventh house too. in fact i am hardly ever in my own shoes  but attracting people who need 'fixing'....thts my neptune in 5th. thaaaank god now i am aware of this tendency in me. i really think that getting attracted to ppl who r messed up is neptune/12thH domain. LoL i think i have that problem too i have mars mercury and sun in cancer in tenth with venus in leo in 12th and i think if you read my topic on monday you would know what im talking about. everyone thinks ive lost it.IP: Logged | |
