Topic: Need help checking validity of internet source

Has anyone here ever heard of Jenna at aboutastro.com? I am very skeptical about some internet services and she contacted me after going to astro.com and has sent me emails saying I have a powerful transit coming from March 25 to May 23, and of course offers full readings for pay. My Sender ID couldn't verify her, but she has sent me a few lengthy emails stating it is important to have her or someone else do this full reading. What should I do? I cannot help but be interested, so am I being paranoid or naive'? Anyone heard of her or how can I make sure to be safe with anyone on the net? How can someone tell all this stuff by my chart? I get those e-mails sometimes. From her and other people too. If you wanna know what powerful transits you have coming up and what they mean I suggest you ask this forum. Because she says a date, ask specifically about that date.I wouldn't pay for something like that, if I really want a specific reading done I'll pay for it but I'll chose it myself. I hate it when people try to sell me stuff, even if its stuff I want. IP: Logged |

I think I might have have been solicited by that astrologer. I never used her. I wouldn't recommend it. Just keep checking astro.com's Personal Daily Horoscopes on Thursdays, or post your chart and ask the people here.IP: Logged |

Hey guys, that transit is supposedly starting today. Is there anyone out there who can tell me if this "transit" is really happening or if she was just lying and trying to get money out of me?I can't seem to post it here even though everybody else can, so here is my birth day

Just trying to give a more neutral viewpoint about "Jenna". Like others, I saw the page about her service when I was wandering somewhere on astrology sites on Internet, and I supplied my birth data first for a free reading (as I can remember). She thereafter contacted me on my email for a few times even after I mean to her that I have very minimal income. In the beginning, I didn't intend to pay for the service she offered but then because I always have so many things I want to know about astrology (I just started to read about astrology by myself, mainly through Internet) and I probably falsely believed that once I paid I can later come back again and ask her more specific questions (which I for a few times tried on this forum too but maybe because of the inapproriate way I phrased them, they hardly get any single reply), so I decided to pay her...... and in my novice eyes, the Reading she provides is not cheap. It's just that it doesn't benefit me as a learner because in her Reading there is no direct reference to the transit/natal aspects or other astrological factors that drives her interpretation. The example quoted in the link wilsontc provides doesn't look like one from "Jenna" (of course I'm not sure if it is). It's all about money and it looks very much like the ones I often receive from another probably an astrologer on internet. IP: Logged |

Hi Phoenix i also had that problem of couldnt post the chart.You have got to post the char on a server ( a blog or a site whatever it is) and then copy the URL of the image. Then, when you are writing the message here on LL you´´ve got to go to "UBB CODE IS ON" click there, and copy the code of the image ( just like it´s there, and copy the URL into that code. I've also had these sort of emails - specifically from Sara Freder ???
I think at one time or other I got something free from her site and now I keep getting 'if you do not pay for this you will miss important opportunities!'
I don't pay for anything that says 'if you don't do this something bad will happen' - ditto for any other emails with this type of message - I only 'buy' into positivity!
Although following the advice of others I may ask about those 'all important transits' here now  IP: Logged |

Ok guys, I am frustrated. I cannot seem to post my !@#$ chart in here, sorry Diandra- I tried to use your advice and it is just not working!
I am frustrated because as you know that Jenna woman was constantly sending me emails saying I had this important transit coming up and all that and I have definatly been feeling weird here lately. For one thing, I am 61/2 months pregnant and my boss fired me two weeks ago on March 30, and I spoke to the elusive cappy man who is the father of my child two days before that and everything is just *weird* now. I am asking for help from someone who has any time to help. If I am really going through a transit, it feels like it at least, a life-changing one- I don't know it's strange. and .. the transit grids in the chart pic only show those transits that are at 'close' orb at present
( when looking at a chart pic with transits .. e.g.from astro.com .. it's important to note the 'degrees stated in the Grid ..
and to know what various planets are doing .. i.e. are they direct or retrograde at the time ..
if 'retrograde' .. then how far back will they go and what transit aspects will they make as they move .. ) note that you have a concentrated buch of planets from libra thru to sag .. 'n that icludes your mc/ic axis ..
so when you get transits to those placements .. you get one after the other .. boom .. boom .. boom ..
and over the past few years .. that's what you've been getting from t.Saturn .. t.Chiron .. t.Neptune ..
( to name three at leat ) note: re chart/transit pic
.. the transiting planets move counter clockwise when 'direct' ..
.. clockwise when 'retrograde' .. planetary 'direct/retrograde' date info link ..
