if you didn't read this in the other thread, here it is againsuch a little slap on the wrist was not enough. just the fact that she was so quick to abuse her new position as moderator of the astrology forum is a VERY clear sign that she is not the knowflake to be moderater. some one else should...needs to be put in the position. some one who has shown a fair and balanced nature. my vote would be for BornUnderDioscuri or Azalaksh. I think it would be wise to listen to the people on this forum and find a new moderator. after all this is their forum as well. it would be truly wonderful to get a moderator that could help produce a peaceful environment instead of a crazy, angery one I think its about time that some one was put in place that could fill the void that is made by astro junkies absence. the forum needs a strong but fair moderator just as astro junkie was, to bring back the peace here. ------------------ Gemini sun Scorpio moon Taurus ascendant IP: Logged |

its pretty obvious to me Randall that you have a beef with AG(from posts i noticed in the past), and thats the reason for your actions. LL isnt the same, a lot of people are leaving because of whats going on here, I respect you and all youve done, what she did was wrong, you need to get someone like Astrojunkie, who wont enforce their ideas like we're in a facist forum. Zala would be perfect for this forum.IP: Logged |

Everyone is entitled to make a mistake or two. She has been a great Moderator for a long time in another Forum, and she just got carried away. Give her a chance. And AG is not the martyr you make him out to be, although he plays the role well. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." Bring back the Peace? It's been taken care of. The ones stirring the drama pot are the ones who are disrupting the Peace. Forgive, move on, and let it go. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. I don't think I ever viewed him as a marter martyr. I was not upset out of pity for AG I was upset because of her actions. And just because she did a good job in one forum doesn't mean she will do well here, I mean just look at how she's done so far. she practically started a riot. I still hold firm in my veiw that the wishes of the people on this forum should be respected, and a new moderator should be chosen just think about it, this kind of thing was not so common when astro junkie was here! we need some one like herThis isn't coming from a place of anger, I just think we need a change of moderators ------------------ Gemini sun Scorpio moon Taurus ascendant IP: Logged |

Why do I get a feeling if it was anyone else but AG, it would be a different story? Why are you acting this way Randall? I never thought you'd be one to let personal grievances come in the way of your decisions in LL. IP: Logged |

You think it's wise to listen to the people? First, there's many many MANY Knowflakes here, not just the few who are riding the AG train. Second, this is not a democracy. I'm fair to everyone, but strong-arm tactics tend to make me resist. Once again, if anyone is unhappy with my way of running Linda's site or with my fairness in general, they can always find greener pastures. Heck, AG will make all of you a Moderator, I'm sure. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." I think you should come to your own decisions, but if you dont take into consideration how everyone feels here, then youre just bringing LL down a notch, dont you think? telling people theres greener pastures is like telling them if something bothers you, stfu and leave....How hostile and unwelcoming. What riot? A few out of a whole city is not a riot. And AJ is still here. If you will pay attention, her name is still on the Mod list for this Forum. I'm not certain where she went, but I'm waiting to hear from her. It has nothing to do with AG. It has to do with me supporting my Mods. If anyone can't look past this and move forward to creating a Forum Linda would be proud of, then I will gladly give them a refund. Oh, wait...no one has paid anything! I spend a small fortune keeping this site up and running and number one on the search engines so that Linda's fans can find us, and I am fair to everyone, including people who make a mistake...even AG. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." The "people" e-mail me their concerns in private, and I listen. They don't start new strings to stir up trouble and make threats. Yes, unhappy people leave here all the time. Such is Life. This is mob mentality at its worst. Thank God/dess LL is not a democracy! ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." I'm sure it was more than just a couple, but the Knowflakes trust my decisions. I am always looking out for what is best for Linda's site. AG is hoping for an upheaval, but he will not get it today. He will have to steal his Members the old-fashioned way...by hard work and search engine optimization.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." What AG train??? People have been complaining about the moderator's actions, AG is irrelevant here and I find it very strange that you keep on mentioning him in your posts even though everyone else is talking about the style of moderating here in LL. I don't know you and AG's history, but please try to drop it, it's irrelevant to the rest of us. I'm still in favour of finding a new, more suitable moderator for this forum. Shouldn't be too hard. Not fairly? The fact that you were not banned wasn't fair? Your string was completely inappropriate, and so it was closed. Sue's went in a different direction. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. What AG train, you ask? Open your eyes. He's playing all of you like a fiddle. But once again, I've asked lalalinda to not be so quick with the delete button. It's in the past. It won't happen again. Let it go. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. I'm certainly no AG fan. But this is about supporting my Mods. They are my family, and I don't disown my family over a mistake or error in judgment. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things."
