Discovered in the ancient city of Dura in Syria by Archaeologist Jotham Johnson was a natal chart dated July 3rd or 4th, 176 AD (dating done by Johnson).

Prof Johnson had no idea about astrology. Infact, it took him several minutes to just recall the signs of the zodiac. Then, he decipehred the signs on the chart and using mathematics figured out that the natal positions can come about only in 200 AD. Later, a university student pinpointed the date. Astrology is thus a mathematical science of accurate time keeping in addiiton to all its other magical faculties.

Is July 4th a coincidence?
Is 176 AD a coincidence?

for some reason the date i have for LL is the 3rd november 2000 ..
( that was passed on by a kf .. no idea how accurate it may be .. )
would one calculate it for the 'switch on ' ?? i wonder ..
either way .. the chart for the site shows transiting Pluto squaring it's natal Mars ..
that will be ongoing for most of this year .. and halfway through 2008 ..
peak periods are ( for pluto at about 28/29 deg Sag ) ..

I see pluto (the mass mind, death and rebirth) squaring (crisis, conflict, requires integration) mars (passion, being, action) is accompanied by the mars (passion, being, action) sextile (opportunity, harmony) transit over pluto (the mass mind, death and rebirth).

Also, Uranus (great awakening, breakthrough) is squaring (crisis, conflict, requires integration) chiron (small action=powerful effect, rainbow bridge, teacher).

From this generalised chart and my meagre abilities, I interpret positive (healing) transformations ahead, affected by the masses (pluto) upon the chart, given the opportunity of (sextile) harmony, in passion (mars) for regeneration (pluto), inspired (uranus) by the lessons (chiron) of a crisis situation (square).
