I'm almost 17 years old...and I have no idea what I want to do with my life. Because I am going to be a junior in high school next year I will have to start thinking about college and what I want to pursue.

I've always been interested in performing arts, and for a while I was so sure that I wanted to pursue a career in acting, but now I'm having doubts. The problem is that I've never seen myself doing anything else. I know that you guys can't predict exactly what I will do with my life, but I was hoping that someone could look at my chart to see what career might be a good fit for me.

I was born May 2, 1990 in Boston at 8:40 PM.

Oh yeah, and I'm very artsy and creative and I'm good at visual art, performing arts, writing, and English. But I am a horrible science and foreign language student. And I don't want a job where I have to sit at a desk in an office all day. I'm leaning toward something creative.

I am wondering why you are so concerned. Perhaps someone is "pushing" you to choose. The problem is that your "career" may not be invented yet!

For now, why not aim toward a liberal arts degree--you can always change it later. If you feel the need of something "practical", I would suggest some classes in CAD or web design. Taurus is often the "practical artist" who creates what is both beautiful and serviceable--as architecture, landscaping, etc.

Incidentally, your true Ascendant is Sagittarius, so you are some type of messenger--a writer/publisher, broadcaster, teacher--or maybe even a counselor who uses therapeutic drama.

Meanwhile, try not to worry. You are so multi-talented that your best approach is to do what is in front of you, then the next thing, and the next---and so on.
What you are meant to do will come to you--perhaps when you least expect it!

You are a blessing and you are blessed.

I guess the reason why I'm so concerned is because I'm starting to get discouraged by acting. I keep auditioning and auditioning, and the best I can ever seem to get is a tiny part or a part in the chorus. And it's really annoying, cause the people who get big parts are not more talented than me.....its like...what do they have that I don't?

I always wanted to pursue a career in acting, but now I'm having a lot of doubts. I've seen a lot of good looking, talented people who tried and never made it, so now I'm getting concerned. The only problem is that I've never imagined myself doing anything else. The reason why I wanted a career report was so that I could see what other things I might be good at..and what I could *possibly* pursue. My friends all seem so sure of what they want to do with their lives..but I have absolutely no idea.

Oh yeah, I actually have a Scorpio ascendent

well, i don't know what to say, do something creative and look at your 2nd house cusp and everything thats there, and look at your MC/10th house, 6th house, and rising sign, for more information.

to give you a bit of inspiration, i'm on the creative side too, and i'm 16 now and i'm finishing up my junior year, i'll be 17 in november, so i know what your going through. But it really has to do with the interest you have in your future, and how much time in your present you'd like to invest in your future. Its all about investment, whether it be ideas, work, or money, its all going to pay off one day, so get started!

daydream,

Leo (self-expression) modifies your South node (the past), indicating that you start out your life wanting to express yourself and "be on stage" (literally and otherwise). But, since Aquarius (friends, outer self-expression) modifies your North node, eventually you will come to think more about developing the world's self-expression rather than just your own. And your North node focused in your 3rd house (thinking, also writing) indicates your writing abilities are very important in your life.

Careering,

Tim

I can see why you're into acting. Your Moon is in dramatic showy Leo, the ruler of your 5th house (creativity, performing) is ruled by Aries, your Mars in Pisces (ruler of films/movies, by the way!) is opposite the Midheaven. Your 6th house is ruled by Venus, which, in itself is enough to indicate an interest or pursuance of the arts, but with your Venus also in Pisces it points to the direction more so.... Have you checked out any performing schools?
