Hello, does anyone else have this aspect in their natal chart and if so how have you dealt with it(there are other similar hard aspects)? I have this and it is real difficult, there are times I get so overwhelmed and one track minded when there is something I want, and at times it drives me to the edge. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't pine for something or... somebody. This couldn't be health at least not mentally. The Hindu religion has a term for suffering from constant desire?------------------

Oprah has this aspect.So does my ex-girlfriend,

Yes a nice(well mabe for me not so nice) Sun conjunction Pluto. The two planets almost touch...------------------

LC - I have Pluto square my natal Mars and my Sun. Obsession, obsession, OBSESSION. Once I get my mind on something, or someone, there is no stopping me. I obsess over anything that is a prominent fixture in my mind at any given time. It is also extremely difficult for me to let go of anything. i have mars square pluto too. pluto aspects makes it hard for people to fool or mess with you. mars square pluto is a survival aspect for me. obsession has not been that big of an issue for me. most of my planets are touched by pluto in opposition. it's all a matter of control. IP: Logged |

Yeah, that is true, Mars square Pluto it makes people more cautious of you. Though there are times when once in a while someone will get in my face and want to start something. It's kind of like they are testing me, to see how 'tough' I really am...but it helps to look rough when you want people to get out of your way and leave you alone. The guy at the gym I used to go to would always look at me, but not in the 'oh she's cute I want to get with her' kind of way, more like 'I want to box you in the ring, and punch your lights out'.IP: Logged |

Almost exact. I had an Astrologer tell me Tuesday that this was a very powerful aspect in my Natal and I was looking at it to try to figure out why i am as well an obsessive individual...

Use it to your advantage. It's a fighting aspect, so get into some kind of martial arts. By channeling it there, it will allow you to actualize this astrological aspect within a context that is relatively safe and that you can control, instead of having random fights with random people down the street or at work or with your loved ones. I'd also have to agree that this aspect is tough and intimidating. I am often shocked, and slightly amused when people tell me that I seem rough edged, tough, or intimidating. I don't feel that way at all inside, but apparently my exterior just screams "don't mess with me."Kind of like it actually...  No one has ever really tried to screw with me. IP: Logged |

I have this aspect, my Pluto's 3 degree Libra and Mars 6 degrees Capricorn. I admit the obsessive tendencies, jealousy etc, otherwise my chart is very "gentle" one, I am a Pisces with Libra moon, venus in aqua...IP: Logged |

I have this. And a conjunction to Pluto. And an opposition the the Moon ...Needless to say, I have a ridicilous tendency to explode and lose my temper. Which isn't good...cuz its a pretty violent one. It's better now that I'm older though. When I was younger, (because I'm so strongwilled by nature, I can feel my power/strength like blood through my veins)...I used to be very very physically impulsive...hitting, pushing people...Just like playing around but I never really knew the extent of my strength and so I always got in trouble for it Now that I'm older it mainfests as an extreme intimidating presence amongst all around me and a need to constantly be in control of things at all times..It's overwhelming...
