Topic: about moon nodes

Hi everybody! I'm pretty much new around here, 2nd time I'm posting.
I think the north node is one of the most interesting elements to consider when interpreting a natal chart. now, what do you guys think is more relevant, the sign or the house where it is located?
I think this can be a bit confusing when the essencial caracteristics of the house and the sign are different.
example: mi north node is in gemini/10th
how can i interpret it?
sometimes I worry about it holding me back in such a big area as my career(10th house issues)

thanks lalalinda! I'm glad I joined this forum, really cool peoplemoondreamer81: what I meant by my north node holding me back is that, yes, it is where you're heading in life but is also not natural for the person to go in that direction and can be pretty much a challenge.
of course, pursuing things that are challenging for us is like, the whole point of life, but I just worry sometimes about being pulled in opposite directions and not being able to combine those energies.
I have several oppositions in my chart and I don't have any planets on air signs and only one in a mutable sign (uranus in sag) so there's no much to work with for my gemini NN, haha of all the traits you listed probably the one that I should try harder at is the one about purposely cheering others up, being too realistic sometimes brings other people down... it was a great answer though, so thanks! Hi there ^_^ nodes/planets/other configurations is about WHAT energy it is, the sign where they are is about HOW the energy manifests, and the houses are WHERE the energy manifests.So I'd say that having your NN (life direction, lessons) in Gemini (communications, ideas) 10th house (public, career, social) means that your lessons should be learning about your communications, about listening to others, being more receptive to other ideas and ways of thinking, and all these through your career and public/social life.
