I sure would love to know that, too, except maybe I should just look into my own chart for that, as I'm quite guilty of that...IP: Logged |

I know this is from a non-astrological basis, but you might want to look up learned helplessness and self-handicapping perhaps...maybe this will help. IP: Logged |

Hard aspects to neptune can make one daydream an awful lot. I'd say hard aspects to Jupiter can make one overindulgent too. I have them both! Woohoo!IP: Logged |

Almost an Angel,The thing with Taurus, they get this lazy wrap but when they do something they like to do it *once* the right way and are unbelievabley thorough. They also take their time and do it right. They can be very hard workers when they are *interested* in a task and it's something they enjoy. IP: Logged |

- lotsa easy aspects and few (or even none) hard aspects;- Venus soft aspects; - lotsa Jupiter soft aspects (makes us more self-indulging to pleasure); - Sun (or other personal planets) in Aries 2º35', coz it's conjunct with the fixed star Difda - http://www.astrologycom.com/fixedstars.html I feel guilty with my laziness lol.. >_<; I've got a nice chart with so few hard aspects (having also a t-square to balance), Venus conjunct Mercury and Moon, and also Aries in 2º36' degrees lol. I have SN, sun, moon, jupiter, uranus and neptune in sag in 3rd house. could that be a reason? IP: Logged |

I think so, Sag is notorious for not being able to focus or follow through though it means well, luckily we have what we need in our charts to balance ourselves. I'd look to the mercury placing and saturn for the way to balance those energies. Something else to consider if you're not doing something maybe it's not the right thing for you or not your calling? We are all wired the way we are for a reason. I think Sag just needs to find the right pasture and then it will do well. IP: Logged |

This is from my astrological report :The specific habits which are likely to hold you back, or which you are prone to overdo, especially during stressful periods, include: N. Node Opposition Mercury: Excessive thinking, rationalizing, talking, and overuse or misuse of your intellectual abilities, as well as dissipating your energy in trivial activities.

I would go with what was said above about taurus and neptune hard aspects. Jupiter hard aspects make you indulgent but not necessarily lazy. If you find you have bad time management or are not as motivated as you would like and you have ruled out depression or wrong career, I would go with sun, moon, mercury or mars, midheaven in hard aspect to neptune. Also south node, sun or moon in taurus. The antidote would be developing aspects of its polarity - scorpio. The bottom line with any trait you want to change is free will, hard work and discipline. Failing again and again but persevering. Eventually you will get there. IP: Logged |
