Checking out rising signs again and looking for description on:

Saggitarius Ascendant

Would a Saggitarius Ascendant have fair hair and blue eyes and fine hair and any feedback would be great. I have read that this rising sign can be blunt when they say things and I was wondering would they be friendly to everyone they meet.

Aquarius Ascendant

Would they have curly hair and would they be more introverted with people.

Any feedback would be great.

Hi Aries!

I'm sure you know this, but the 1st house planets/planets conjunct the ascendant also have a strong effect on both the looks and the character.
For example a sag riser and a sag riser with Pluto conjunct the ascendant are two different animals(appearance & personality)!

Thanks for replying and i did not realise that once the ascendant conjuncts another sign in the chart, that it can influence the appearance. At least I know now.

I heard Sag AC gives fair hair, but I think its a genetic thing. I'm a Sag AC with Uranus conjunct the AC (acts like Aquarius AC) and my hair is dark, with dark eyes...mainly due to my race. So..yea. However, I did hear it gives thick hair...my hair is ridiculous.

I'm a sag rising with neptune on the ASC, I look pretty otherworldy at times. I am a chameleon. My pics are in the post your pic thread of anyone wants to see my ascendant "look". Maybe we should start different pic threads for different ascendants? One for sag, one for scorp, etc. Dunno if it has been done before.

I have dark blue eyes, very pale skin. My hair is light brown/dark blonde naturally. I have 2 cowlicks . I'm 5'7" and have long limbs, many people think I am taller than I am.

About being friendly to people, Neptune makes me much more receptive and sensitive - So at first, I get to know them and who they are, then I am more friendly and extroverted.

I think hair and eye color are a result of genetics......if both your parents are asian how on earth are you gonna have blonde hair or blue eyes? (unless you're an albino) These descriptions are SO eurocentric.

More ridiculous astrobabble.

Certains signs may or may not be more likely to have certain facial proportions and body/head shapes. This is the only correlation I've ever noticed to be consistent, but even then there's always exceptions.

Of course it's Eurocentric when you're reading English descriptions about *western* astrology. Most Eurocentric people speak english and are caucasian, so of course the descriptions written in their native tongue in books and on the internet are going to reflect this until a more global consciousness is reached. (which is happening right now.)

People tend to notice the traits within their own race the most, because that's mostly who they see depending upon where they live. So obviously, the blue eyes thing isn't going to apply to people of Asian decent, and someone Asian peoples will have different feedback to contribute about their own experiences. Even If I lived in Japan, (which I have before) It would be kinda silly to go to a Japanese astrology board and expect their asc descriptions to include caucasian traits and dismiss the validity and judge it "ridiculous astrobabble" because it didn't include them.

I think there are different patterns in different races, and the eye/hair colors can be one of them depending upon the race & genetics involved. I think it can be all related to the ASC, just in different expressions for different people and races. Of course, it's never going to be cut and dry and applied to ALL people rigidly, just in fluid patterns that evolve over time.

I know an asian guy who has Aqua RIsing, and he has curly hair...This is unusual because asians usually have straight hair. He's a Cap/Taurus/Aqua

I’m a saggy rising, with Neptune on the ascendant. My hair is VERY fine, long and curly. It’s light brown with reddish highlights. I have all of the other sag traits too like long lanky limbs, slightly larger front teeth, etc. As for bluntness, I sometimes do say silly blunt things. It comes and goes in cycles. Most of the time, I’m incredibly tactful and careful, but every once and a while I have a Sag day, and end up blurting out all kinds of silly things. Fortunately my Cancer sun is quick to catch my blunders and make amends. : )

My Cancer ascendant gives an innocent look to me, but my Mars conjunction ascendant makes me more noticeable, and the fact that my hair easily turns red when laying in the sun(it's all good). Long hair, most of the time.

I am a Sag with Sag Asc, conjunct Mars & Jupiter in Sag.

I have green eyes and reddish-gold, medium to dark brown hair plus a lovely cowlick on my hairline above my right eye...: ) Thick, fine hair with a slight wave... Plus, I am taller than average, some people have said I am like a race horse, fine-boned, lanky limbs, very athletic and full of energy. Must be all that Sag with a heavy dose of Jupiter.

I'm an Aqua ASC- and my hair is curly (well not now that it's SHORT) but since for ever it has been loooong and curly ;p

I kinda miss it now. Haha. I had one of those crazy days, and was bored. So I look at myself in the mirror and think how fun it would be to change radically: "let's cut it really short". haha

Anyways, about being introverted not at all (well maybe a bit, but that's due to my cancer sun). But in general, when I'm in a group and with ppl I've just met, I'm very outgoing/sociable
