Well ok, so i got to thinking...what am i really like? what parts of me can i attribute to my moon?

- i HATE to WAIT....for anything or anyone. its not about impulsiveness like an Aries person, but more about a lack of patience of this sort. For example, I can't be expected to wait in a long line, or to eat at a place where they take ages to serve...i'd rather go get my lunch at 4 in the evening when i won't have to get in a line ! So i have the patience to wait till 4 to have my lunch, but can't make myself wait for half an hour in a line.

- If you expect me to be a certain way, then it is almost certain that i'll act the opposite. so if you have me marked down as a sensible, practical person (which i am) then you can expect me to be all absentminded and 'out there' with you (which i also am!). Trust me, it is not something i can control. (if its any consolation, i am constantly suprising myself too!). i just have to get out of the box you have put me in. you have to accept me with all my contradictions.

-whatever you do, please don't bore me. atleast not the first time i meet you. (And nothing bores me more than a closed mind). otherwise you can expect me to disappear within moments of my spotting you the next time. that, or i'll retreat into the inner reaches of my mind and bore YOU to death.

- also, attempts at controlling/manipulating me are bound to fail. especially those laden with emotional blackmail. and you will lose my respect forever.

- i love to talk. so if i am not talking, there is something seriously wrong. and most of the times it means that you have hurt me. yes, gemini moons have emotions and can be hurt.

ok all you gemini people, i want to hear your comments. I just thought i'd put this together because i know we can be confusing....and because i love to talk about myself

Hey I'm Gemini moon also! I agree with every word you have written EXCEPT the talking thing. I don't talk excessively, but I am able to communicate well when I do speak. But yes-I hate being bored, i hardly ever have given anyone a second date because I'm usually bored, get bored in careers, with people, with relationships. Could also be my many aspects in sagg though too. I also hate waiting in lines, have little patience for anything or if soemone is saying something I could give two $hit$ about! haha. francesca

hehe...glad you folks agree....although now that i think about it, i don't talk all that much !! atleast, not to everyone. most people think that i am very quiet (little do they know that i find them boring). but i do 'emotional talking', like some people do emotional eating. it is very soothing

InLove-
I have a gemini moon, and everything you wrote is right! Especially about the waiting thing. I am a very restless person, I like to be busy and doing things. I mean, I can sit down and watch a movie, and I enjoy them- but I would rather be out around people doing something.
I don't like being indoors at home, the only time I ENJOY being home is when I have some kind of project to do that will keep me busy, with the exception of studying for a test or something. If I'm home trying to read or study, then something will catch my eye that needs to be cleaned ro needs to be done.
Before I had my son and had to stay home more, I was out 4-5 days a week. Out eating, shopping, visiting a friend, hanging out with my friends, going to a bar to play pool and listen to music....something!

Im still learning about Gemini Moon , i dont talk alot only around certain people. i do alot talking in my head all day everyday. Impatient with other people i hate lines. Reading all day everyday. When i was younger i would read a book a day. Mind constantly in motion hard to sleep at night b/c im still "thinking".
Dont have a problem being at home. But i must leave the house at least an hour per day. i cant stay in all day by getting out i mean getting in a car and driving. My car is my 2nd home. i dont like traffic though, i equate that with waiting in line.

'talking in my head' tht's about right, i dont know 'who' i am talking to half the time, but i am always talking in my mind.

sometimes i have conversations with people i will see later in the day. its kinda like a "run through" like you do for acting! If i dont do this i feel so clueless as to what to say to someone. On the flip side i know i come off as robotic to some people i rarely just shoot from the hip when i do i end up saying not soo good things.

hi y'all !!

Wow... I know a guy who has gemini moon (Aries sun)..and what you've describe fits him so well !! it sure has helped me to understand some of his 'wierder' behaviours... esp the 'cannot stand to be in line' bit !

He also absolutely cannot cope with being hounded/harrased by fast talking sales women... he just turns around and walks away! (even if it was a product that he went in to buy!)

One question though... are gemini mooners afraid of feeling 'love' ? This guy (38yrs old) has told me that he has never ever felt love for any of his previous girlfriends..though he has been in a few long term relationships. Is this a gem moon behaviour?

These posts are so accurate!! It's freaky.

I'm also a Gemini Moon.. and I'm just wondering if any of you have this problem:

I tend to be very emotionally honest in the moment, however I can sometimes be perceived as liar because I will feel completely different only a few hours later. When you say something, people expect it to mean forever (or at least a few months), but with my Gemini Moon in constant flux, I can't seem to keep those kinds of promises. So really it's not lying, and it's quite innocent, but people take it the wrong way.

I also finding myself 'deciding' how to feel. When I'm asked how I feel I actually have to THINK about it. Which is ironic.

ok some more, which i thought could be explained by the gemini moon

- Give me a book and then forget that i exist for a day or two. I mostly love the fiction variety, as i like to absorb my philosophies, my world view from stories, rather than someone telling me in so many words what to believe in. give me a story, and then watch me get lost in it. i become like a zombie, all that exists is the book in my hand. i dont eat, get up only to pee, my parents needed to push me into the bathroom to make me take a bath, and even then i'd hide the book in my clothes and take it in, and sit and read it there. my parents used to joke that if they want me to say 'yes' to anything, tht was the best time to approach me...a conversation would proceed like this.

'Come and have dinner'
'yes' (it would typically take 4-5 calls plus snatching away of my book to make me finally eat)

'did you like the movie we saw yesterday'
'yes' (i hated it)

'can i eat your chocolate?' (that wud be my sister)
'yes' !!!

- I hate people who are not genuine...i hate talk that is not genuine....viz, small talk. i prefer to talk to kids because they have an open mind, a unique way of looking at things, so much personality and character !! kids love me back too, i think because i treat them like individuals. i would have a heart-to-heart talk to them about why they hate their teacher and how they hate to talk to doting relatives. my uncles and aunts get surprised when their 'unruly' children follow me around like i was Pied Piper of Hamelin.

Probably because of moon being my chart ruler, which trines with mercury, i am more clued in to others' emotions and mine.

- I do everything at the last minute. Can't make myself do anything before the deadline. Like my tax return. I am going to file it NOW.

yes shirty, i think about my emotions a lot. as in, why i reacted the way i did to a particular situation....my emotional reactions are sometimes so quick that even i don't know why i felt the way i did....i have to later sit and think about what went on...lol

emotional changeablity....well, i keep to myself mostly. i am extremely honest, but also quite reticent in talking about my emotions. (except here). so the 'cheating' thing does not happen to me. i guess the cappy part kinda put reins on all things emotional. for example i would not tell a person i like them unless it was true 90% of the time, atleast.

scared to feel love....hmmmm. not really. but then i have a strong 7th house emphasis. i live for relationshps.

well, considering Honesty is still the best Policy...

gem mooners are worst "talkative" creatures I have ever encountered. They think they are right, they are mentally superior and they can win any debate if they want to..

it is so transparent tht I just feel like saying "shut up". but it would not matter to them for they will think "see, he/she can not hold an intellectual debate".

well sorry to say... I CAN, but it is NOT worth the effort. by the way, I have 'pluto in first house' so I dont feel awed by control freaks, I just apply my strength where needed. Believe me there are people who are genuinely ANNOYED by your musings and philosophical discussions.

... PS: no offense intended.. dont kill me with yet another "non productive" discussion abt why I said wht I said.

Highly_Inflammable, I can't speak for all the other gemini mooners in the room but you just described my Gemini moon Sister to a "T". And what's funny is that I've noticed when she starts to losing an argument/debate she either:

A. Starts talking loud and fast in order to not let you speak/put another word in
B. Just starts talking out of her Behind
C. All of the Above

And I have a virgo moon, so you can imagine the dynamics between her and I.*edit* And then my bf is a Pisces mooner so its very interesting what happens when all 3 of us are in the same room together.

D-Luna..

I cant agree more baby.

but wht ****** me off is tht there are people who follow them. I mean they are really in "awe" of their BS. They are opinion makers for them.

I am never moved by their argument but some people are really gullible ...

*smile*
(I dont know how to insert smily so please bear with it)

Errrr I can't say that about all gemini mooners though. Only my sister. She just drives everyone nuts.....even my Aqua Mooner Mother.

There other's I've met in real life that are much better and alot more fun to be around. There are even some here in Lindaland that reaaally like. Like take for instance, the starter of this thread!

Oh and BTW, to insert a smiley: Use the colon key ( : ) and then the second parenthases (sp?) key that shares the same key as the number zero on the keyboard.

awww dulce, tht's so sweet of you...now i'm going all mushy, so i must run

*came back*

i know some gemini mooners who are like that too...i let them blow their steam. it is funny when one week/month/year later they realize that they were wrong and argue just as strongly from the other side

personally, i can't hold an argument....especially when someone tries to refute everything using logic and 'facts'. if i believe in something, i believe in it, period. i am not going to argue about it or have it proved wrong. somehow all arguments tend to degenerate into ego wars. so i stay away from them.

p.s. i have noticed this with aqua moons too, and they r sometimes worse because they are very fixed in their beliefs.

Im not like that but i dont share my beliefs with everyone . I also like hearing other folks "way of life" in fact i hate when people try to make me believe thier B/S philosphies on life. I dont mind listening and having a conversation but please dont try to change my opinion.

Ohhhhh yes, my Madre is the worst! Especially since she strongly sticks with her religious beliefs and if I dispute with ANY of them......I never hear the end of it (Again, not speaking for all Aqua mooners, just my mom)

My Gem-Moon girlfriend isn't a know-it-all type. She's got a Capricorn ascendant, so she thinks some things are more practical, and occasionally makes cases for them, but she won't strongly argue on something insisting that she's right.

re: ** .. gem mooners are worst "talkative" creatures I have ever encountered. They think they are right, they are mentally superior and they can win any debate if they want to. **

i doubt that has much to do with Moon placement on it's own ..
i would disagree with all of that statement .. if it's moon placement yer on about ..
sounds a bit more like a sun conjuct merc character with added aspect to mars ..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
re the moon :
"Just as the Moon reflects the Sun’s light, so in astrology it signifies a person’s instinctive, emotional response to their environment. Where the Sun is connected with action, the Moon’s domain is reaction. These feelings are largely unconscious in childhood, only coming to light as we become aware of our true selves as signified by the Sun. As a result, the Moon by sign, house position and aspects can reveal a great deal about a person’s emotional development as a child, and how these patterns are likely to re-emerge in later life. The Moon also corresponds to the ‘feminine’ principle - the protective instinct; the home environment; our sense of ‘belonging’; natural habits; eating patterns and preferences; attitudes to the past; changing moods and fortunes (reflecting the cycles of the Moon); the imagination; the ability to reach the public; and women, especially the mother."
'nother Gemini Mooner here...gulp...I read somewhere that Pisces Sun/Gemini Moon was one of the hardest combinations to be in a person...isn't that nice?
I too am a voracious reader...my dad is a fireman and he would come running in the room when his scanner would start beeping and ask...where is the fire and get all mad at me when I would tell him that I had no idea...I was reading, duh:-)
Not a big talker here, especially of the superficial kind, I hate chatty chatty bullshitters.
What I have always thought was my biggest Gemini Moon trait was my constant questioning of "why" ...why, why, why? (Eddie Murphy Raw anyone? ).
And as my lovely leo cusp friend tells me all the time...STOP ANALYZING!!!!! I am guilty of that fo sho....I always have to analyze the why's and how's of something...
I also have to admit one more Gemini Moon vanity... I have always thought that is why I'm so durn smart....hehe, not like brilliant smart, but I'm a pretty quick chick, and I always toss that off to my quick thinking Gem moon.....
Highly_Inflammable,
i know you'd come back and say 'tht's exactly what i meant', to what i am saying too. But HD is really a sweety, i have never seen him argue with anyone on this board. Please don't be so quick to judge.
I am not a Gemini Mooner, but I do have my Sun, Mars & Venus in Gemini. I am impatient, opinionated and I can be a know it all at times.
However, these tendencies are curbed by my 1st House Pluto and Virgo rising which make me weigh my words carefully before I speak and make me intolerant of bullshyte, hot air and superficiality.
I don't concern myself with being right or winning arguments, what interests me is speaking from my heart and if you agree great and if not, no big deal either.
