Lioneye68,

I am judging from your comment that it's possible you have a lack of compassion and understanding for them as individuals that is the problem. Compassion and consideration of other's boundaries goes a long way to achieving the results you desire.

I've often found that people use the term "constructive criticism" to justify displaying a complete lack of empathy to other people while cutting them down to size. (you may or may not be doing this, I don't know you as a person.) You can't lead a community or group of people without considering them as individuals and treating them like human beings. Lots of people in positions of power shoot themselves in the foot that way.

I know that. When I'm approaching a problem, ie trying to find a solution, I don't go in saying "you suck. You f'd up" but no matter how you say it, the person who fell short is going to feel guilty. If they happen to be female, they will lable the messenger as a bi#ch if she is also female. But if a man were to point out the very same thing, it's all ok - all in the name of progress.

Like I said, I don't care anymore.

Well yes, you certainly can't help other people's emotions or how they view you. I find that when I am improving a situation, I first complement them on the things they are doing well, and it eases that guilt a lot, but of course it's not always going to work 100 percent depending on who is in your team and what issues they have. Of course you have probably already tried that too.

You don't care about them not liking you, or you don't care about them?

I've been out of the traditional workforce for awhile, but I know it can be very tough for females.

I mean I don't care if they get their noses out of joint and gossip about me. About 10% of the females who I work with can take things in stride and take me for who I am. Oddly, they tend to be water signs.

I would say that this would be more of a Mars attribute maybe, than just exclusively an Aries one. The reason being is that I have heard this particular complaint raised by as many Scorpio women as Aries', (and the occasional Leo!)

I'm about to waffle, so please bear with me!

Mars, the ruler of Aries (and also partially Scorpio) generally emits an aggressive, forthright, masculine energy, which more feminine girls might not be able to get on board with when they sense it in another woman. I guess it just comes down to them feeling intimidated.

My Leo sun/Scorpio moon/Scorpio ASC sister is without a doubt, one of the most unapproachable women I know - especially to females. Everyone who has ever met her for the first time, has said the same thing; "that girl is blatantly a ***** ." And dyu know what? She can be!!! However, her many friends have stuck to her like glue since she was in nursery school and I know for a fact that it will always stay that way. That is something I myself have never been able to achieve. I am very approachable upon first meeting and men and women alike seem to feel comfortable in my presence initially, until BAM! they hit my barriers and don't get in any further. This is why I have very few female friends unfortunately. But that is my issue - I guess I see myself as fundamentally different from most other women, and so therefore distance myself in a friendly but shallow way - never letting anyone in because I'm just too damn weird. However these Martian women are also looked upon as fundamentally different, but by other women and so therefore seem like to hard a nut to crack. Whether they are or not is irrelevant - it's just all about the vibe really....

hmmm still think it's a myth..

Angelina Jolie has an Aries Moon and Mars. She does come across as a strong person.

Yet everyone I know my age at least.. but actually older people as well, LIKES her.. No one dislikes her.

The only sort of negative things I've heard, is guys saying they prefer Jessica Alba because she's more girly or sweeter or whatever.. or 'more natural' lol.. that's another one I heard.

Which is why I guess, I see the potential for men feeling threatened - because I've heard it with my own ears.. With women I always notice the opposite. They are both inspired and energized by someone who seems strong.. and usually see her as more of a role model. That's what I've noticed when it comes to Angelina Jolie anyway..

:edit: - actually Jennifer Garner is another example - also Aries - also generally liked by females (the ones I know lol)
