Hi all!

Do u think there are any specific aspects that could indicate that a person has been in jail/imprisoned (or will be) ?

I have a very dear friend, who was in jail due to political reasons while the dictatorships in South America a long time ago.

I was looking at her chart the other day, and, and what stands out is a t-square between the sun moon and uranus. Being the Moon in Sag in the 12th house.

I've read the 12th house is about imprisonment and isolation, so maybe that has to do with something.

But just wondering if there are any aspect that could indicate the loss of 'physical freedom' in a chart.

one aspect that could show prison would be Pluto (bondage) in the 9th (court) square the Ruler of the Asc.(self) in the 12th (imprisonment).

the whole chart must be taken into consideration as these placements do not always mean prison.

I'm a prisoner ... a prisoner of LOVE!

Kidding.

Actually I can see 12th house and neptune like that in general. The moon in sag in the 12th is very fitting for your friend's situation. I always think of sag as the more socially/politically active sign and in the 12th makes a lot of sense that the imprisonment would come from that area. I hope she made it through everything okay!

Lalalinda,

Oh interesting about that aspect!, and yes I know that the whole chart should be taken into consideration. But I was just wondering if there are certain aspects/positions that can give us a 'hint'.

Neon Artemis,
I see!, u are a prisoner of love!- woah, hard to get out that one... uh?

Yes, I thought the same about Sag and the moon in her chart. And yeah thxs for asking!, she's okay now, and has grown old and wise. But she don't regret fighting for the human rights and freedom of people in my country. Thankfully those times are over.

My husband has been in a prison a year and a half today. I have no idea how to put charts up but you can look it up if you'd like to check your theories (cause I have no idea how to yet) born feb 22 1980 in bloomington IL around 10a (he was adopted so we aren't sure)

Hi xrâräx,

in a nutshell
for Prison you look for a hard aspect/configuration to the Ruler of the Ascendant (self)

The Ascendant Ruler must be connected to
The 12th house either by aspecting a planet therein or the ruler of the 12th (prison) and
9th house planet therein or 9th house ruler (law, court) or
the 7th house planet or ruler of the 7th (open enemies, police, confessions )

There will be a hard aspect to the Ascendant/Ruler (in the natal) from either Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto which can serve as the trigger when aspected by transit or progresion.

Lalalinda,

Thank you so much for all that info!
So applying your information, I took a look at my friend's chart and found the connections you said!. I'm amazed.

The ruler of her asc is Saturn (which is located in the 7th house). It receives an inconjunct from the Moon (in the 12th) a square from Mercury (in the 9th) and a Quintile from Jupiter (which is the ruler of the 12th).

Also her ascendant receives an opposition from Mars, a square from Jup and and inconjunction from Pluto.

I'll take a look at the progressions and transits.

Thank u again Lalalinda, it's has been very interesting "discovering" all these stuff

Hi Scorpgirl

I'm sorry to hear about your husband
I took a look at his chart, but always bearing in mind that his time of birth is not exact.

I found some connections according to lalalinda's information (assuming he was born aprox at 10 am). His ascendant is Taurus. Being it's ruler (venus) in the 12th house (imprisonment). Venus receives an oppositon from Pluto (which is the ruler of the 7th). Oh and Chiron is also in the 12th house.

If u want I can put up the chart here for you to see it.
