Hello all, I was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge of a connection between a south node in Capricorn and a tendency towards violence. If I figured it right, the Virginia Tech shooter was born in 1984. If he was born in the first part of the year, would that put his south node in Capricorn? The BTK killer has a south node in Capricorn as does my very violent/abusive stepmother. I don't think it's the south node by itself, but certain planetary aspects to the node. My stepmother has a cardinal grand cross in her chart, but not sure if it's correlated w/ her tendency to be violent. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated. There are violent people all over the world with just as many cancer NN to cappy NN. So like you said, the whole chart/aspects need to be taken into account.Cappy south noders need to develop more cancerian qualities like empathy and compassion etc. Which could be a reason why cappy SN could have a tendency towards violent behaviour(eg. not feeling others pain). The Virginia Tech killer had North Node Gemini / South Node Sagittarius (conjunct his ascendant on the chart I saw).Mars and Pluto are usually looked at regarding violence. This killer had Mars conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, with the Sun squared both. IP: Logged |

Thank you for your replies! I was wondering where you found cho seung-hui's chart at. I looked everywhere, and I had no sooner posted this when I discovered his date of birth on Wikipedia. I saw his chart information on Noel Tyl's board. The rectification of his chart by the pros over there give a birth time of 5:19 am, so Sagittarius ascendant.I like looking for patterns in charts as well. Just keep in mind that there are plenty of people out there who share aspects of his chart (Pluto/Mars sq. Sun, for example), who are not insane murderers. He may have inherited a chemical imbalance/mental illness, was likely abused as a child, and in the end made choices that we won't ever understand. I would be interested in seeing the chart of Liviu Librescu, the Holocaust survivor and aeronautical engineering researcher who died saving his students. What a great, great person, and what a stark contrast to the killer. IP: Logged | |
