I've been wondering for a while now, what do us masculine influenced females have to do to bag feminine influenced males?!

I've had interest from all the wrong feminine signs, too - Pisces, Capricorn, Taurus. I'm more interested in Virgos and Cancers, but I think my masculine influence can be off putting
In particular, my Sag Sun, Aqu Moon, Uranus conjunct Sun, Pluto conjunct Venus in Scorpio, Mercury in Cap...even my feminine influences are pretty masculine.

I do vibe well with masculine influenced guys, and it is familiar and nice, but I like being complemented by qualities feminine signs hold.

Any tips? I think one I've learned is to let him lead (so hard to do at times)

I know, right. I'm tired of dealing with only the guys that want me to beat them up.

as a pisces sun i always liked the feminine boys in my teen and 20's, but the older i get really like the masculine men now. its not even about the looks more wbout emotion. i seem to attract men who have been looking for a shoulder to cry on, and real men do cry but my detached gemini moon and venus in aires gets real uncomfortable around emotional people in general.

Actually now that you mentioned it.. I know very few couples, including friends and family who are not a combo of a masculine sun and a feminine sun..

The following marriages have all lasted a long time -

Virgo male, Libra female - grandparents
Cancer male, Leo female - great grandparents
Gemini male, Virgo female - grandparents on dad's side.
Pisces male, Aries female - family friends.
Gemini male Taurus female - also family friends.
Cancer male, Leo female - this is my mum and her husband.
Gemini male, Pisces female - my best friend and her bf, they've been together for about 4 years now.
Then there's a couple of Cancer/Aries pairs.. both lasted around 20 years, both split around the same time.

Can't think of anyone else right now.. but generally I don't see masculine/masculine or feminine/feminine.
The exceptions are Taurus/Cancer and Scorpio/Capricorn - they last.

I have a masculine sun sign - Aries. I would more readily see myself in a serious relationship with a Gemini or a Sag(they're both masculine). My ex bf/other dates/guys I liked/guys who liked me - were usually masculine - with the main exception of Pisces and then there's always the odd Taurean creeping in.

Why do you particularly want to attract feminine sign guys? Or do you have a certain guy in mind?

Like I said, I feel like they have qualities that complement my own. I'm also just intrigued by what it'd be like to be in a relationship with a Cancer/Virgo guy (had a taste once). Plus, I'm used to the masculine energy and though I find it fun and encouraging, it still feels like something is missing. Masculine influenced guys can kinda overdo it, too, be too cool, insensitive, macho, selfish...one sign I esp am wary of is Gemini (Sun at least). I really seem to prefer my female friends to have masculine signs, while I attract and have male friends that are usually mostly feminine.

Every so often a feminine man is cool to flirt with, because the ones I normally encounter are rather shy and reserved. Which I find so cute, and irresistable, making me feel dominant and in control. But there are times that I do still like a man that can challenge me and knows how to put me in my place when I get in my B@tch moods, which is needed. Thats why I love Aries guys so much, they are so vital and masculine(they are to the point). They make me feel like a frilly little dainty woman, big accentuation of estrogen

feminine men are so gentile. I love them. As friendships, mostly. I don't ever feel superior or inferior. With same masculine-signs I feel very competitive.
I feel that the two can learn from each other.

I always liked Linda's description of the Sag girl Virgo boy relationship:

quote:
She asked where he lived. "Second to the right," Peter said, "and straight on till morning."

"What a funny address!"

...He'll tell her a thing or two. And so, he speaks right up to her, firmly and sternly - "No, it isn't. It is not a funny address."

That's the first thing he tells her. The second thing is that she should learn to close her mouth before she speaks, and keep it closed while she's analyzing what she was about to say...Surprisingly, she'll probably love it. Actually, this girl is searching for a firm but tender man, who will keep her in her place.

This is seriously how my Virgo lover responded! He was so quiet and logical, how could do anything but consider what he said and agree?

I think that's what make the signs so interesting though...the differences between them.

I hope you meet someone who lets you be who you are!

I'm a feminine Sun (Capricorn) guy going out with a masculine Sun (Sagittarius) girl. It works really well. It will be 9 months Friday after next.

We've talked about this gender reversal quite a bit. The idea came to mind when eatbooks did a synastry report for us, and it said that I was her female muse in a past life. It then dawned on me that being a Sag, she really is a bit more masculine. She's always commenting on how I always dress nice, and plan what I'm going to wear, etc.

Being just one sun sign apart, our composite naturally falls in a sign comfortable for both of us (Sag). She's a Sag Sun with Capricorn Ascendant. I'm a Capricorn Sun with Gemini Ascendant (and a stellium in Sag). It's good.

On leading, we're both very Mutable, but I have a Cardinal Sun, and she's got a Cardinal Ascendant. There's not so much of a power struggle as there is between two Cardinal Suns, but there are minor instances of a, "Why-would-you-do-it-that-way?" kind of attitude. Neither of us is stubborn enough to really hold on to something like that for too long, though. There are also occasions where both of us are too Mutable, and we can't make a decision. She's really hard on herself when these times happen, so I'm learning to make the decision or force the decision before it turns into too long a moment of not being able to figure out what to do (which is when she starts getting overly critical of herself).

Yeah, I'm all for guys with some things in common with me.

Btw, have you tried the Davison composite chart? I find that this is also of value.

I don't think I had done a Davison chart for us. I've done them before just for the heck of it. I'm not real sure of the practical use of Davison charts.

Mars at 4 Sag (Retrograde) (conjunct her natal Mercury) 3rd house

This was encouraging for me to see.
Thank you.

I'd say you just have to meet them half-way.
Sensitive people like to nurture others,
but its got to be a two-way street.
You can't just rouse them to be bold,
you have to do a little cossetting as well.

Good luck!

being a masculine sun (sag) .. with fem (virgo) ascendent... I always seem to be attracted to dare-devils, catch me if you can types... if a man is too feminine it is a turn off...but strength need to combine with gentle soul and some one to stop me with a "NO".. I think sag girls are attracted to guys who can say "no" to them firmly but gently.

somehow without even any intention I seem to "offend" taurus, cap, pisces and cancerians...........of feminine signs... virgo and scorps are the two signs who are as strong as any masculine sign with a gentleness.. just perfect fit.

...
Paid Vacation, ... just let guys feel your depth n sensitivity, from time to time and, keeping real forceful argument for radical issues would do... ...... and how about if you let them pamper you, try being a cindrella occasionally... sags do believe a lot in 'fairy tales' ...
