Hey Gang,

I recently contacted a Scorpio that I was madly in love with, but made a conscious decision to severe ties with over two years ago... To make a long story short, he had a child and was trying to build a relationship with the child's Mom, although her pregnancy came as a result of a fling between the two of them.

He didn't really KNOW her, but he wanted to be responsible and do the right thing BY her... So while she was pregnant, he let her move in with him and they proceeded to reside as a family unit for the next 2 years.

Things eventually went sour between them and she moved out seeking child support, in which he was ordered to pay, but ALSO given the option of a paternity test… Well, because of the circumstances under which they met and she conceived, he thought “What the heck” and asked that one be done.

Come to find out, he WAS NOT the father of this child that he had known, loved and cared for for all of that time… It’s been a whole year since that occurred, but I have just reestablished contact with him only to find all of this out…

I still have feelings for him, but something’s telling me that he may not be emotionally available and is probably very resentful and brooding over the whole ordeal and the ex, since a year is just not enough time to heal after such a devastating blow.

Please advise…

Thanks,

What a ***** , why would you do that? Some people have no shame or morals. Does he still love the baby?

This happens more often than you would think. My brother a Libra had this happen when he was in his early 20's. He is in mid 30's now and has no children he said the situation left him emotionally drained and he doesnt want kids at all now. He is single and most of the women he dates already have children which he adores he just doesnt want to be a biological father.

Belgz... Without a doubt I do believe that he definitely still loves this child. He was a very devoted father and this little girl was indeed the apple of his eye.

Pearlized... He is a very domesticated Scorpio, and the impression that he has given me, in spite of this situation, is that he DOES want kids of his own some day and that at least now he knows what it's like to be a Dad already.

Ok, so here's the update...

I'm almost to the point of really regretting ever making contact with him again, and I have come to the realization that the past is the past FOR A REASON!!!

As much as I would love to be there for him as a friend, He can't seem to get past seeing me as a person of sexual interest...

All of our conversations seem to have a sexual undertone, and he's expressed very openly that he wants to have sex with me again.

I told him that I had no interest in picking up where we left off over two years ago, but that we could hit the reset button and start things all over again.

With Scorpio's, could these sexual advances be a secret hidden desire of a need for closeness because of what's happened to him, or is this just him trying to get his rocks off with anyone that he can?

Thanks,

Mmmm, from a scorpio perspective... Probably doesn't want to 'just get his rocks off with anyone', but if you had good sex in the past he probably wants it again is all. And yes maybe it is a selfish thing to help his emotions to give him the feeling of being close to someone. If that makes sense, I hope. francesca

Well, now that's the thing! See we only had sex TWICE!!!

The first time was like fireworks in July and the second time... Well, let's just say that I'm sure he'd just rather forget about it.

To make a long story short, my nerves got the best of me and I abruptly ended the session asking him to stop and please hand me my clothes.

I hurt him that day, and it took a long time for him to forgive me for that (if he ever really did), but we don't have a GREAT sexual history to go on...The score is kind of like tied at 1-1.

Hm, it probably very well could just be him wanting to feel close to someone to help ease his emotions. Maybe?? Tough call, thats a super hard situation, I cant even imagine..

Scorpio men can be VERY complicated. He may want to be close, he may just want to get off. He's got HEAVY stuff going on, and I get the sense it's not over. Far from it.

If it's any consolation, I had the jarring experience this past January (mid), when, after 2.5 years in a very serious relationship with a scorpio man his 20 year old "son" ended up on his doorstep wanting to meet him.

I was FLOORED. He had NEVER mentioned it. All he told me when we met was that a "psycho" tried to "stick" him with a kid. He told me it was all worked out. Well, apprently, it wasn't "all worked out."

He believes to this day this boy is not his, and he was "lucky" in that the mother of the boy met a good man who fell in love with the woman and the boy, and became the legal father. If that hadn't happened, my b'friend would have been the legal father. He tells me that he paid like $500 way back then for paternity tests, showed up not once, not twice, but FOUR times, and the broad never showed up with the boy.

Needless to say, this sent our relationship into a tailspin, and it took months to recover. I can't help but still feel lied to, and like, "what the hell else is he hiding from me? What else is going to show up on the doorstep?"

They are strange creatures, but there is NO excuse for not being above board. I feel like there is alot about him I don't know, and being the self-protective scorpio that I am, I don't fully trust him at this point. I'm trying my best, but it's not easy.

If you want advice: don't get entangled, unless you just want a sexual companion and you can remain detached emotionally. If you can't I fear for your happiness. That's just my spin on it.

Thanks Astrid!!!

Well, yesterday I pulled out all the stops and told him exactly how I feel. I told him that I was open to something more serious, but not looking for anything in the least bit casual.

He sounded shocked to hear me express my feelings for him, and he actually relished in it for quite some time and seemed to be in total disbelief.

At this point, I really feel FREE!!! Free because I put all of my feelings out there on the line, which is a HUGE step for me (Moon in Capricorn), and what he choses to do with his knowledge of those feelings, will now determine what it is that I choose to do too.

You know, there's just something about the past that can sometimes be SOOO inviting and SOOO tempting to make you want to take a step back... Just to see WHAT IF and just to try to answer all of your I WONDER'S.

I don't know...but for some reason, I just HAD TO KNOW...and since he's a Scorpio, well, I'm sure one way or another, I'll get a definite answer or outcome either way!!!

Hi Tanae,
I have a hunch YOU will be just FINE.

I adore, and have utmost respect for my cappy moon friends. Actually, my sister, a cancer sun/Cappy Moon, and one of my true blue friends, who is a cappy sun/moon, are my biggest sounding boards. When I get all neptunian with my affairs, all I have to do is call either one of these ladies. They are SO sensible, and grounded. They pull no punches, and bring me back to earth.

I get real carried away with matters of the heart, and at times, I need "sensible." Sometimes beat into me. lol

With your sun in virgo, and moon in Cappy, actually, chances are you will keep all this in perspective better than I would! lol. Good for you for expressing yourself to him, and telling him what you need, and what you will NOT accept. That's admirable! How sweet that he was flattered, albiet shocked!

You probably could have some fun, go skipping through the past, and if it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, I feel that you would probably be able to walk away from it, (see it for what it is).

I visit my past probably too much, in a karmic sense. But I, like you, find it difficult to sit with "what might have been's". I'd rather KNOW, and decide for myself, even if it's not a good experience.

I have moon in the 11th house, too, and lots of scorpio in my chart, along with scorp south node. I feel ALL my associations are karmic, heavily, and get mired in them at times. Also, with moon in the 11th, it's true: I have been known to reunite with old lovers. I have read (Robert Hand, I think) that with moon in the 11th, you have a tendency to do this throughout life. Ah well. Perhaps in the end these experiences will pay off, and I will leave the juciest memiors! I wonder where the moon sits in your chart. . . (?)
