I have a tumor on my thyroid. I have had it for years, but it has grown to the point where it is uncomfortable, and it needs to come out.
I am a little freaked out, but its not that complex of a surgery, I am told.

You know, provided they don't sever my larnyx or the carteroid artery... hey, no biggie...

SO-

I think Taurus rules the neck. I realize that certain phases of the Moon are important when planning surgeries also. The kicker for me is that my only options are a Friday (my days off are non-negotiable, h$ll, I will be lucky if I can get ANY days off for this) and my best chance to do this is probably June, so I have time to plan.

I am not asking for anyone to do a chart, but if anyone here has some general knowledge about how I can best plan this, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

chances are its benign, because 99% of cold nodules are not cancerous. yay. I still don't like this whole scenario.

I had a euthyroid goiter for years -- when it got really uncomfortable, my doctor prescribed Synthroid. This probably has nothing to do with your situation, but just can't help but wonder if there's anything else that could be tried before surgery.....

Here's the list:

I have heard that quote before- I think its Ptolemy, maybe.

So, I think I will be okay as long as I don't do it on a day that the Moon is in Taurus.

Groovy.

According to my almanac, the next Friday where the Moon is in Taurus is in September, so I might be cool.

I think my only option is biopsy, then surgery. To be honest, I just want it out. I don't think mine is a goiter- but, I am not a doctor- they told me it was a cold nodule (aka, not functioning thyroid tissue) but this was about 5 years ago.

I will soon have another radioactive uptake scan, next week. Its gotten so much larger- I swear it looks like I have an adam's apple!

Neat-o, I will be radioactive. Can't be around pregnant women, pets, people with pacemakers, children, or Geiger Counters.

Its like being an X-man- look out world, here comes Power Girl!!! HA.

2. No personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars ) should be in the 25, 26 or 27 degree of Taurus. (The star of doom, Algol, is in 26 Taurus. )

Suggested but not compulsory:

3. Neither Mars nor Moon should square or oppose the 26 degrees of Taurus during surgery.

4. Neither of the Asteroids SIVA (1170), PANDORA (55) and KAALI (4227) should conjunct 26 degrees Taurus.

Color Therapy:
Visualize Ice Blue in the neck region to enhance healing. Wearing an ice blue color muffler or just wrapping an ice blue colored cloth will help too.

I got your ascendant at 22 degrees Scorpio, MC 6 degrees Virgo. Let me know if it's incorrect.
I've written down the sign the Moon is in during each Friday, but re-check them, because it also depends on your location (well, actually that is the case with all transits, so some of them can be slightly off timingwise, but only very slightly)

Significant long-term transits:

Neptune square ascendant, this one will be around for a looong time, Neptune will form an exact square to your ascendant on 21.5. (correct timing depends heavily on how accurate your birth time is), then again on May 29th.

Saturn has been squaring your ascendant for a while now (since last October), it will make its final contact on 28.6.

Jupiter sextile Venus, exact on 4.6.
Saturn sextile Uranus, exact on 14.6.

Saturn square Ascendant: Appropriate relationships

This influence signifies a time of severe testing in your relationships with others. I am glad to have the link to Happy Dragon's files- I have spent some time reading them- and on a side note, I have actually figured out this current Neptune transit.

Well, as much as a person can try to rationalize anything Neptune- heehee.
