Likely to win a physical fight - Mars/Sun or Ascendant in Aries.

Could psychologically mess with someone until they shoot themselves - either Asc/Mercury/Moon/Mars or Sun in Scorpio.

Can be cutting in speech, sometimes action - Mercury in Sag or Mars in Sag.. not always the Sun.

Can win any verbal arguments - Libra and Gemini placements.

Can get *that* job you've always wanted, no matter what you do - Capricorn Sun/Moon or Asc.

Sags are strong, too, and they honestly don't mind fighting. They don't usually start them, but they don't mind finishing them.

A Sag friend of mine with Sun in the 2nd, and a Scorp ascendant has told me that even though he's not physically imposing he's a b@stard to fight, because he's willing to fight dirty. He's also quite a talker, so he, "Could psychologically mess with someone until they shoot themselves," as Lauren put it. I don't think it would work on me, but the feeble minded should be a bit weary of him.

I've always been afraid of myself when it comes to fighting. I've always been imposing, so I always thought I might really hurt someone if I ever gave in to a rage or something, so I haven't done it. I do have Mars in Scorpio and an 8th house Sun, so there is a power within me that I keep under control. Air influence is supposed to add non-violence to the character, and I have a Gemini Ascendant.

I'll disagree with Libra winning verbal arguments. I'm not sure that I've ever witnessed that happen unless by 'win' you mean 'mediate into submission'.

I only fight if I have to or for a strong purpose or if Im really angered but im only angered for good reasons lol soo. But when I was smaller pre-teen I would always get into fights. I havent been in a fight for a long time .. but when I do I go all out. and at 6'3 200 pounds I wouldnt want to fight me..

Your friend is my astro twin. I'm a Scorp rising Sag Sun in the 2nd too. I've never been in a fight though, except for back when I was 5 with my older sister, a Cap. Now she fought dirty. Enjoyed using her teeth, perhaps the Cap influence on the skeletal system ? I hated fighting with her, and to end it, I would pretend I'd died. It was a sad, painful day when she stopped falling for that. I'm not a physically violent person at all. I do enjoy an occassional mud wrestle, but that's more for stress release than anything else.

I have Mercury in Scorpio, so words tend to be my weapon of choice. I hate fighting in any form though. If someone has really ****** me off, I'll just tell them off if I think they're being a jerk, but I despise being in hostile situations and prefer to just directly voice my complaint and then avoid being around the person if they remain a jerk. Maybe it's all the Virgo in my chart, but I feel happiest if things can stay reasonable and I hate giving somone else the power to drive me into becoming an impulsive maniac.

Scorpios I respect because of their insightfulness. To them, it presents the double-edged sword of being both an advantage and a disadvantage. Pisces are INCREDIBLY tough...February-born male Pisceans approach situations with a gentle smile. They claim not to be ambitious, but, my God, isn't that just intended to put the competition off the scent! Their buttons can be pushed, in which case they'll patronize, and leave one feeling uncomfortable. If they don't like something they smile, and disappear (and that smile can be worse than an outright "I don't think we should continue"...because it's simply not straightforward). Discretion perhaps being the better part of valour?

And how much of physical fighting ACTUALLY depends on physical strength? What about the will behind it? Like I said, I am not strong, but I tend to break metal objects without trying. I used to fight my Sag mother as a teenager (she having thrown the first punch) and she said my glare scared the hell out of her...she thought I was possessed.

Planets in Taurus are definetely helpful for physically-related fights as they combine concentrated, focused resolve with incredibly robust physical strength. However, they may lend an element of naivety on other levels.

When you're talking about the ability to endure hardship, hard graft and difficulty, I'd say Capricorn wins hands-down. Librans aren't exactly jelly-bellies either - they can sink gallons of alcohol without it being noticeable - and they do very well for themselves in their careers and otherwise, reaping astounding luck, although apparently without too much opposition. They're also emotionally tough, as they keep an unbelievably benign expression whatever the weather.

Aries' strength is their drive, motivation and sheer will.
Taurus', their physical strength.
Gemini, their ability to say the right thing at the right time.
Cancer, their ability to wait, and to reap money from situations.
Leo, their love of keeping things together and sense of responsibility.
Virgo, their mental strength and powerful argumentative skills.
Libra, their emotional control.
Scorpio, their powerful creational abilities.
Sagittarius, their sunny side, charisma and wit.
Capricorn, their inquisitive abilities.
Aquarius, their passion for their subject.
Pisces, their supreme adaptability.

You guys just remind me of a guy that tried to kiss me against my will one day, many many moons ago.
I was in my late teens, I was so p*ssed and indignated that he would hold my face with his two hands and try to force himself on to me that I swear my eys rolled backwards , i could not see straight, my rage and anger were so great that the only thing I did and I don't remember thinking of doing, i just did it, was grab a knife from the drawer and told him I would kill him if he would get close to me again, while one of my friends was next to us screaming "oh my god! oh my god, she is going to kill him" so,I really don't know what my rage would be, or what kind of vibes I was expelling but he obviously got the point very clear and he left.

I think in the end we all have it and we can all be strong if the situation calls for it.

Sad part of it I end up giving in to him after the fact.LOL I could have lived without having this little romance though, there was no point to it, after that happen he was very respectful of me and NEVER tried to force himself on to me.

I remember smacking a fellow aquarian once, he was really bugging me so I just did it. Left him in complete shock, but he didn't annoy me again so I guess it's a good thing.

When I was little (7-8 yrs) I was part of this "girlgang" (4 of us: 2 cancerians, 1 aries and myself). I remember one episode in particular when we started arguing with 4 boys at our age. They threatened to kill us if we didn't give them the playground. LOL. (And of course, we believed them). The two cancerians started to cry and ran of, but me and my aries friend stayed. We refused to give it to them. Her because she was loyal to me and didn't want to leave me alone, and me because I'm so darn stubborn. I was actually TERRIFIED, but was I going to let them know that? NO WAY:P
