I agree with the snake empowerment, that is why visually I see myself, with my foot on the snakes head, restricting the power that could BE, until I am ready.

I've gotten a nasty email from a member from here, about my masturbating comment, gosh, maybe 3 months, or 6 months go by, before I need such a release, which I never use toys, and that is also visualization with my other half. Just so people don't get the wrong idea.

Whomever sent you that email is probably just uneasy about you being celibate for whatever reason. Either, a) They have guilt about their own sexuality or b) they feel threatened by yours. Don't let it bother you. It's their problem, not yours.

And who doesn't masturbate sometimes for chrissakes? I don't use toys either - is that yet another 8th house trait? (Most people won't want to answer that!)

I remember all of my friends had them and I didn't. I felt like I was missing out on something. I was then given one as a gift and...nothing...I thought,'what is all the fuss over?" It did nothing for me. I'm the only person I know, besides you guys who feel the same as I do about it.

I always knew it would feel unnatural to me - I am intense, but I like everything very natural and simple. That's enough for me. I don't need gadgets, bells, and whistles. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I am very sensitive and using a toy would probably make me nuts. I feel everything, every touch, kiss..etc... and I can't imagine something vibrating or using something to poke inside other than my mate (heehee...Bear....)

Those that would like them.. cool.. have fun... but I like to use my imagination and self manipulation if I need to release.

People also think that because Bear is downrange I should have a toy to take up my time. NO WAY... why have something artifical when I can have him.. .albiet at a later date.. but still. I want him to be the one to experience pleasure with.

I was once with someone that said sex is just sex.. like an itch to scratch. I couldn't understand that concept. From that point on I stopped loving him.. I couldn't touch him because all I could think about was "Yuck.. I am just scratching his itch" He also had a porn addiction (I have issues with porn as well.. why use a vehicle to get off when you have someone you love with you).

Merging with the one you love makes all the difference in the world. Bear and I can soar to so many places with just a touch or kiss... (and we like the other parts as well).

Our ancestors (American Indian) teach that we have two souls.. one is primal which causes us to feel hunger, thirst and fight for our lives.. The other is spiritual, it seeks to attain wisdom and to connect with someone on that same plane. When two people merge and it is right..the two spiritual souls also merge..that feeling is so profound and worth waiting for and not worth ever putting into jeopardy.

I feel sorry for those that can't feel that. I suppose that is why I'd rather wait than to just scratch an itch (meaning when I was single.. now I wait because I am in total love and would never think of merging with another).

Off topic.. I got GREAT news... Bear will be coming home in August... and we'll leave together for Schweinfurt, Germany in October (I won't be fit for travel until then because of my surgery.. but then we'll be together for at least a year before they deploy him again....)

My Vesta is in Leo in the 11th house. It trines my Sag Sun within 2 degrees and my MC within 2 degrees. It also conjuncts my husband's Leo Sun.

Bear also has his Vesta in Leo, in the 11th house conjuncting his Mercury and trining my Venus / Moon.

I feel the same way...I would rather wait until I'm in love with the person, and they are in love with me. It wouldn't even be fulfilling for me if that wasn't the case.

That's wonderful news! I'm so glad he'll be coming home safely. I didn't even know he was there...According to the news, Bush is bringing home troops, so he may not have to go back at all. I am ambivalent as to whether that's the right thing to do, but at least your Bear will be safe and home. I can't imagine how hard it must've been knowing he was there.
