When transiting planets are applying, or getting closer to conjunction (or any other aspect) with a natal planet, it's like a wave that keeps getting bigger and higher as it gets closer to the shore. When the wave is VERY close to the shore, it crests and falls over upon itself, reducing in size. That's a metaphor for a planet's passage across a natal planet or point.

I'd say from personal experience that you can feel the Outers (generational transpersonal planets Saturn, Neptune, Chiron, Uranus, Pluto) at least 3 degrees away.

This is a period during which your relationships deepen in importance. You may have the chance to meet someone who completely changes your views on life. If lord of the 3rd, relationships with relatives and neighbors tend to be unequal now. You may read more into communication than is actually there, or there may in fact be hidden messages.

If lord of the 4th, your personal life may be in a state of upheaval and you may seek a deeper meaning and sense of belonging.

If lord of the 5th, your creative expression is likely to have a dark side. Love relationships are very intense and potentially manipulative. You may have to deal with a manipulative child.

If lord of the 6th, you may have some rather strange co-workers enter your office environment or have to deal with uncomfortable professional boundaries.

If lord of the 7th, a marriage relationship will deepen in intensity now. A new relationship may form that is very special to you.

If lord of the 8th, carefully monitor your finances and credit report. Can indicate misuse of personal information, invasion of privacy and betrayals of secrecy.

If lord of the 9th, your dreams can have dark and disturbing imagery. Dangerous travel or adventure may appeal to you now. A deepening of philosophy and wisdom is likely.

If lord of the 10th, your superiors are likely to have an increased interest in you. Your popularity increases. A good time for professional advancment. Connections prove important in advancing your career now.

If lord of the 11th, friendships may lack equality or deepen in importance now. Advice received from others now is likely to be good.

If lord of the 12th, can indicate the start of an affair which you would prefer to be kept secret. Generally indicates the start of relationships that others would not approve of.
