June Daily Timings
June 1, Fri. The Lunar Standstill Full Moon occults Antares and conjuncts retrograde Jupiter (16 Sag) as Jupiter moves to again conjunct the Great Attractor. (See June 7) These events are expanding even further the already expansive Sagittarius realm, energizing greater possibilities for profound shifts in our awareness, and true understanding of ourselves, while providing opportunities to further release any limiting egoic attachments that keep us from knowing the truth of who we are. This is a time for being truthful and honest with ourselves, for being vulnerable and getting in touch with what is truly in our hearts for us to express. (See May 26 and 31 Celestial Timings Archives for more on Antares.)

Tomorrow, Mercury reaches its greatest elongation from the Sun (23 degrees) in this evening sky appearance, signaling the upcoming Mercury retrograde on June 15. It is a good time to start backing up valuable data now.

June 2, Sat. The Lunar Standstill Moon conjuncts Pluto at Galactic Center and then moves into Capricorn, crossing the Galactic Plane. All this year and into next, Pluto and the Moon are meeting at Galactic Center, located visually in the sky between the constellation of the Archer (a.k.a. Sagittarius – see difference between signs and constellations) near the tip of the arrow and above the tail and stinger of the Scorpion, where the Milky Way and the Ecliptic intersect. In the three-day Lunar Standstill window, the Moon is so far south in its orbit along the ecliptic that it literally covers or crosses directly over Galactic Center.

During this time, the Moon amplifies and transmits the energy codes directly from the core of our Galaxy. The power of this transformative potential should not be underestimated. We are being given unprecedented opportunities to resolve our ego attachments through simply being willing to surrender. Realistically, this can be quite painful and difficult, especially when we are resisting the process. Surrender, or the letting go of the need to be in control or to manipulate reality, is the key. When we can truly trust the Universe, or the divine unfolding of the Great Mystery, regardless of how confusing or illogical it may seem on the surface, knowing everything is happening for a purpose that truly supports our evolutionary journey, that is a genuine state of surrender.

June 3, Sun. The Jupiter (16 Sag) Uranus (18 Pisces) square is still actively engaged in creating expansive changes intended to support greater freedom in living the truth of who we are. Jupiter and Uranus reach their last exact square in this process on October 9, 2007. From now until then, these energies are working to help facilitate our freest possible expression (Uranus) in a highly expansive manner (Jupiter), creating an alchemy designed to free us from old pictures and old programs that limit our perception. Trusting the Divine Timing, even when it doesn’t make sense, and is often confusing and unexpected, is again a primary key to flowing more easily with the changes that are taking place anyway. Divine Timing often unfolds in magical and miraculous ways, especially when we are not attached to a specific outcome or things looking a certain way.

In Marlo Morgan’s book, Message from Forever, she describes a young aboriginal woman seeking to know more of her heritage. The challenge she has when she finally connects with those who have kept the sacred ways of her people is letting go of her old pictures and programs. She is told:

“ … It is true your life is one of searching and you have the potential to find important answers and to help many lost people to find their way. But it will not be easy for you. Unlike a small child who is eager to learn and has a void to be filled with knowledge, you are already full of information. You will have to decide for yourself what to discard, what to replace, and what to accept.”

What we have been taught to believe as true, is not necessarily so. Those teachings and beliefs are being challenged by these rapidly changing times. The Uranus Jupiter square is accelerating the need to let go of any previously held limiting beliefs about ourselves or about life that do not support the fullest and freest expression of who we divinely are.

On the evenings of June 30th and July 1st, Venus and Saturn will be a striking pair in the western sky. http://skytonight.com/observing/highlights/5027311.html
