What transits could indicate experiences of disappointment; betrayal; deception; particualarly relating to love relationships?
And would you look at houses as well as planets?

Thanx

Neptune transiting your 7th--significant others, or 5th--playmates. Possibly Neptune transiting Venus.

Thank You Alice - Transitting Neptune is actually in my 9th hse conj my Mars (Aqua) and my 5th hse only has transitting Juno and Lilith(?); my 7th hse has transitting Jupiter - surely this should be good? Could you also tell me then, I have Neptune in my 7th hse (late scorpio DC)does this mean I am destined to be disappointed in love or disillusion myself regarding my partners? Also have natal Jupiter in my 7th - so am confused

I am somewhat new to astrology, but from what I understand, Neptune in your 7th house DOES increase the risk of self-delusion in regards to your partners. But, this is not necessarily a bad placement. Neptune is a planet of self-delusion and self-deception anywhere it is placed, but it is also a very beautiful planet that can also indicate where your compassionate, imaginative, and sensitive nature lies.

From what I have read, the key to Neptune is understanding that is where you have a tendency to delude yourself. To not take things a face value and face Neptune head on. Perhaps before getting into a relationship you could do an assessment of the qualities that you value and want in a partner, and the ones you find unacceptable. I think that they key here would be to objectively confirm in your relationships that you are not over-looking obvious flaws in your partners. If you do, you should be able to enjoy the beauty that Neptune can bring.

Both me and my boyfriend have Jupiter in our 7th house. From what I have read, Jupiter indicates where you can have abundance, confidence, and luck, but also where you can have excess leading to negative outcomes and over-confidence. I think that the key with Jupiter is to think balance. Excess, over-confidence, and over-abundance can all lead to imbalances in your life and your relationships. If you focus on maintaining a balance, you hopefully shouldn't have to worry about its negative side.

I don't know for sure, though. Those are just my personal assessments of the planets from trying to understand my own chart. I am not a real astrologer, so take it all with a grain of salt.

There is a "transit rythmogram" (or something like that) on the "special charts" selection page as astro.com. You put in a date and it gives you a graph showing the major outer planet transits affecting you for the next 4 years.

I am not quite sure how accurate it is, as it seems to indicate my upcoming Saturn Return is going to be rather moderate compared to the last 4 years of my life (which I dearly hope is true). I had originally thought that I had somehow hit my Saturn return 4-5 years early, but after looking at that and studying the affect of the planets transiting through my houses, I believe it was merely a combination of Neptune and Uranus transiting through my 2nd house initially starting things, and Pluto finishing up its transit on my 12th house finishing up by causing more systemic changes in my life as a result. Pluto should finish its transit on my 12th house in the next year or two, I think.

You can do a search on google for the affect of certain planets transiting through your houses, and see if that helps you pin them down.

alcheme and cat71 ~

The Transit Rhythmogram is a fascinating graph.....

I just wonder how the transits are "weighted" so that the peaks are the height they are.....

Yeah, my sentiments exactly. That is why I wasn't quite sure how accurate it was. Dang, your transit bumps blow mine away... LOL! But, it does give you an idea of what is going on, so you can look them up on your own. I am not quite sure it was all of the specific aspects that affected my life so dramatically, but the house transits certainly seem to hit th enail on the head for the overall concepts. Some of the aspects seemed to be on track, though. I kind of took it as a map for what to look for in my searches, helping me to narrow down the possibilities...

Happy Dragon - how the f**k do you do that -

Secondary question - what does it mean?
I have had alot of deception, disillusionment, betrayal in my love life since 1995, as a result I shut myself off for a long time, I now trying to open up again, but not having much luck

In 2000 I was told by palm reader that I would not get together with 'the one' til I turned 40, recently another palm reader moved that forward slightly to 37, (about 18mnths), Just trying to see if the transits will give me any additional information re: timing, as I'm trying to prepare myself spiritually, sweeping away old negative influences/patterns/habits so that I don't miss the moment...

Zala - my transit peaks look like that too - I looked at the chart and went 'woah!'

Tell me about it!!! That's the result of 3 planets at 26 degrees: Sun/Moon/Jupiter. tPluto has been on the rampage thru my planets for awhile -- once it sextiles nSaturn 29 deg Libra, trines Asc at 29 Leo and squares nVenus ( ) at 2 deg Cap, I'll be done with Pluto for a long long time -- all of my planets except Venus are between 20-29 degrees.....

I wonder if the "weighting" in the T.R'gram is from the Pullen attributes at astro.com??
