Oddly enough my Mars and Venus signs are in Scorpio and Taurus, respectively. I know these are probably one of the most sexually, and sensually charged signs in the zodiac. How does this effect my romantic life and accomplishing goals. Thanks

Junity,

Your Venus is in your 9th house and Mars is in 3rd house. Let Azalaksh come and answer your question.

I don't have Exclusive Response rights You go ahead and say what you see

nVenus opp nMars:
http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/venusmarsaspects.html
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrological-aspects/venus-opposition-mars.php

Mars is dignified in Scorpio, but residing in a Mutable and Airy house.
With Mars in the Third House you are likely to exert your energy and initiative in building mental resourcefulness and an aggressive active intellect. There will be a liking for competitive mental pastimes that present an intellectual challenge - such as chess, crosswords, etc. You enjoy learning, argument, debate and discussion and you are likely to do well in school. The need for mental stimulation will ensure further education and eventual mature student status.

Venus is dignified in Taurus, but in a Mutable and Fiery house.
With Venus in the Ninth House the areas of life where you are most likely to express your social, romantic and artistic qualities are through a love of philosophy, study, intellectual interests, travelling abroad for pleasure, religion and art. A wise, relaxed and pleasantly philosophical attitude towards life is very apparent, and you may dream of living in an idealistic world that is beautiful and peaceful. A love of religious music and art is probable. Marriage may be to a foreigner, or one with the same religious or cultural views.

How interesting -- six Retrograde planets!!

hi! I have the exact same aspect. this interpretation is from cafeastrology.com, it's quite interesting:

Venus in Taurus, Mars in Scorpio (Romantic Earth, Watery Desires): You want stability and reliability in your relationships, but you also require emotional bonding and intimacy. Your partner is of immense importance to you, and you are helpful and kind to him or her. You are affectionate and sensual rather than wildly passionate. On the one hand, you can be dreamy and devoted, and other times you can be somewhat aloof and cool. You are at your best when you are encouraged by your partners—you need a lot of positive feedback—as well as when you know they trust and respect you. You are loyal to a partner who has won your heart. You go about getting what you want in life in an indirect manner, and you value all that is unspoken but known in bed. You are very private when it comes to matters of the heart, and you want, more than almost anything, to always know where you stand with a partner. You are drawn to partners who are simple, practical, and down-to-earth. Flashier types are not your cup of tea. You are at your best in a committed or at least long-term and secure partnership. You have an intense fear of rejection and humiliation when you are in a relationship, although it is unlikely you will reveal this part of your personality right away (if ever!). It takes you quite a bit of time to trust someone. You are a caring, giving, and warm partner and lover, although it can take time for you to open up to love and to feel free enough to express your warmth. Your partners find you somewhat hard to reach, but essentially quite committed and protective. In love, security is important to you, and a tender touch is always appreciated. You want to count on your lover, and you also want to feel that her or she is yours. A loyal and warm partner is much more appealing to you than a flashy, outgoing one whom you may not trust.

Venus and Mars in opposite signs: You tend to see-saw between wanting closeness and freedom in your close relationships. You struggle to balance your own needs and the needs of your partners. As a result, you tend to have love-hate relationships with your lovers! You do better in your relationships when you feel better about yourself; then, you can assert yourself in more harmonious ways. You don't always know what you want in love relationships, although you're drawn to relationships like moth to flame. You are vibrant and charismatic, sexual, and exciting.

hugs,
penny

Wow, I can relate very much to that Venus in Taurus, Mars in Scorpio description even though those aren't my placements. I do have a Scorpio AC/Taurus DC though. That description matches me much better than the ones I've read for my Venus (Cap) and Mars (Virgo) placements.

Thanks for posting that, pennylane.
