Venus making an aspect to the ASC (especially exactly ON the ASC... both Angelina Jolie & her daughter Shiloh have this)

A lot of Victoria's Secret models have Venus opposed Neptune in their natal chart.

So many of them (like.. more than 3/4!) have Venus opposed Neptune and the ones that don't have a different planet opposing Venus. So Venus oppositions are a theme, definitely, especially Venus opposed Neptune.

The current crop of models also have NO EARTH planets in their charts. There are one or two that have maybe 1 planet... but most have no earth... interesting, eh?

Also... The Victoria's Secret girls... have tons of Gemini in their charts.

What reminded me was your comment about Evangelista, because when I posted my "findings", CrankyCap pointed out that the old school models, like Cindy C, Evangelista, Christy Turlington, etc... were overwhelmingly earth influenced.

Also, I remembered something else... a lot of models have Venus as a singleton planet in their chart - eg Tyra Banks has this.

IMHO... and this is just speculation... I think Libra Rising doesn't so much create great, exceptional beauty, as much as it creates someone ATTRACTIVE... I'm thinking of Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez when I say that. They are not extraordinarily beautiful, but they are exceptionally attractive, if you can make the distinction.

Yea~Positive Venus placements I would think indicated beauty.Maybe in Libra.

no, i disagree, to me, marilyn monroe's beauty is artificial or immature, i think Lauren Bacall was much more sophisticated, refined and more attractive than monroe herself. She's more beautiful to me.

she has venus in 12th conjunct her AC, with Neptune conjunct true node in Leo in her 1st house. she also has aphrodite in the 8th house (in pisces)

I also really like Ava Gardner and Audrey Hepburn. I think they are very beautiful. I'm not familiar with their charts.

Neptune5... in my opinion, from what I've observed... Venus making ANY aspect to Mars in the natal will give the native sex appeal... maybe not beauty, but definitely sex appeal

Mama Mia... I agree about the Sun in the 1st. I don't think that alone indicates beauty, but it can greatly turn up the volume if it's already there. Interestingly, both my mother and my ex-husband had the same stellium of planets in their first house (Venus, Sun & Mercury)... My mother is a Virgo with Leo rising and my ex-husband was a Pisces with Capricorn rising... Both of them are extremely charming, attractive and talkative people... I would say charismatic to a fault. Nothing they cannot talk and charm themselves out of! My ex was a very attractive man, but he wasn't a beautiful man... My mother has always been considered a great beauty, though... her stellium is much tighter - all those planets are within 5 degrees of each other and sitting right on her ASC at 25 Leo... Mercury is at 27 Leo, Venus 28 Leo and the Sun at 1 Virgo.

Another very beautiful friend of mine has Venus right on her ASC also. Another beautiful friend has Venus conjunct her Sun... Yet another has Venus square Mars... I'm just looking through friends charts, trying to pick things out... the latter two have empty 1st houses and no interesting aspects to the ASC...

Me, personally... I have a lot of sex appeal, but I'm not beautiful. I'm a Libra Rising with a 1st house Pluto that exactly sextiles my Venus/Neptune conjunction. I think people see someone who is attractive or sexy or very pleasant looking and exceptionally charming... and they kind of throw all those terms around - sexy, pretty, hot, beautiful - but I think strictly speaking, great beauty is something separate to being hot or sexy or attractive.

The interesting thing about him is that he's almost ALL Libran. He has like, 1 planet in Virgo and 1 planet somewhere else and everything else is Libra. Capricorn rising. And he was born on a Libran eclipse (Sun and Moon at 0 Libra).

The most amazing thing about him is though, that he is even more beautiful on the inside. He is the greatest friend I ever had. Truly beautiful person.

I also looked up the sister of on of the women I talked about in my previous post who has Venus exactly on her ASC. Her sister is even more beautiful and extraordinarily striking... she has cat eyes, she looks completely feline. I don't know her sister's birth time, but I looked up her chart and like my buddy... she's ALL Libra. She has 6 or 7 placements in that sign alone.

Which reminds me of the Victoria's Secret models... a lot of them had a similar thing with their charts, except the sign was Gemini.

Maybe it's more to do with what more people are likely to *perceive* as being beautiful rather than a definitive judgement that everyone should agree with.

I will say though, that both me and my bf are often being told that we are attractive (he's been described by many as a "pretty boy"), and we both share the aspect of Neptune opposite Venus. He also has Venus in the same sign as his sun but not conjunct, and I have Venus square Mars (but I think that would create more sex appeal than 'beauty' per se).
