Jimi Hendrix - Bold As Love Lyrics

Anger, he smiles,
towering in shiny metallic purple armour
Queen Jealousy, envy waits behind him
Her fiery green gown sneers at the grassy ground

Blue are the life-giving waters taken for granted,
They quietly understand
Once happy turquoise armies lay opposite ready,
But wonder why the fight is on
But they're all bold as love, yeah, they're all bold as love
Yeah, they're all bold as love
Just ask the axis

My red is so confident that he flashes trophies of war,
and ribbons of euphoria
Orange is young, full of daring,
But very unsteady for the first go round
My yellow in this case is not so mellow
In fact I'm trying to say it's frightened like me
And all these emotions of mine keep holding me from, eh,
Giving my life to a rainbow like you
But, I'm eh , yeah, I'm bold as love
Yeah, yeah
Well I'm bold, bold as love (hear me talking, girl)
I'm bold as love
Just ask the axis (he knows everything)
Yeah,
yeah,
yeah!

Two Astrological periods in our recent past fascinate me. One is the early 60's Aquarius Stellium, the other is the huge block of people born in the mid-late 60's that have the Uranus/Pluto conjunction in Virgo opposing the Saturn/Chiron conjunction in Pisces

I'm not a part of either group but I do have a vested interest in the Virgo/Pisces Axis.

The March eclipses in Solar Pisces this year were a precursor to upcoming eclipse in Solar Virgo.
With the Lunar Nodes mirroring this dynamic (NN has been in Pisces all year) There seem to be related themes w/Uranus in Pisces and Chiron in Aquarius.
What does this speak of to me? Relationships; inner and outer.
You don't have to have Virgo/Pisces on your ASC/DSC in 1st/7th as I do to feel the effects. This seems to be about freedom. Personal freedom effected without the loss of emotional intimacy. Humanitarian issues, healing that includes others as opposed to pushing them away.
Well instead of rambling I'll post some others thoughts on this, and add to it as I go along so I don't lose my post (mercury-R)

2007 Solar/Lunar Eclipses

* 3/3 (5:16 p.m. to 9:25 p.m. EST; peak 6:21 pm EST): Total Lunar Eclipse (visible in Eastern North America).
* 3/18 (4:38 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. PDT; peak 6:32 pm AKDT): Partial Solar Eclipse (visible in most of Alaska).
* 8/28 (3:52 a.m. to 9:22 a.m. EDT; peak 6:37 am EDT): Total Lunar Eclipse (visible in most of North America).

Lets go back to Aug '06-- the effects are felt for some time
Eclipses are special events, both to the general public and to astrologers alike, and they have been both a fascination and ominous occurrences to people since the beginnings of human memory. For astrologers, an eclipse has the effect of super-charging a degree of the zodiac (the degree of an eclipse, that is). When a person's own planets or angles lie on or opposite within three degrees of the degree of an eclipse, then some rather special events take place in a person's life when the degree of an eclipse is activated, either by the event itself or by the transits of planets to that point or to the opposite point. Due to the motion of the Moon's Nodes, which are the defining places of eclipses in the zodiac, we have a rather energized situation before us at the start of the new season. As it turns out, there will be no less than 14 eclipses that will be activated by Mars or Jupiter from Friday through to the end of December, and there are two that have been activated since the last eclipse – one of which will not occur until next year (3 Mar 2007 at 13 Virgo 00).
Yes, if an eclipse is close enough in time, although such a thing is not usually given much consideration. In other words, the degree of the eclipse can be sensitized before the event actually takes place, making the event itself more powerful or precipitous in some way. That particular eclipse was triggered by the retrograde transit of Uranus on the 30th of August this year. This eclipse was pre-triggered by Mars on the day of the last eclipse, so this eclipse will be a little more powerful than usual.

For those readers who are non-astrologers, this letter will be a little more technical than usual, but it is necessary in order that we gain some understanding of what lies just ahead of us in terms of planetary events and opportunities for real and needed change in our lives – for change is exactly what eclipses foretell. No other astrological event appears to have the power or capacity for change that an eclipse seems to be able to deliver. Every major change of direction in a person's or entity's life is usually marked by an eclipse of some sort. From births, marriages, moves, changes in philosophy and even death, eclipses tell the tale in the majority of cases. It is a fascinating astrological study, but it also has some very practical and serious ramifications for people.

There are three eclipses of which we need to be especially mindful in this period because they fall on or very close to either 15 degrees of fixed signs or the zero degrees of cardinal signs. These particular eclipses are known for their capacity to affect change on a world scale. We will not have the space to go into examples of how all that works out, but it is enough for us to know that there will be some potent catalysts for change that are about to be presented to us, and we can pinpoint the timing of it by the transits, primarily of Mars and Jupiter. With that, let us have a brief overview of what we are dealing with here.

Four Basic Types
There are 4 basic types of eclipses (between the Sun and the Moon):

Solar South Node: Sun conjunct Moon at the South Node
Solar North Node: Sun conjunct Moon at the North Node
Lunar South Node: Moon at South Node opposing Sun
Lunar North Node: Moon at North Node opposing Sun

The one we had on the 8th of this month was a lunar North Node eclipse. The one taking place Friday is a solar South Node eclipse. The one that was pre-triggered was a lunar South Node eclipse opposite the one that occurred on the 8th. Eclipses always take place in pairs, with one being a solar eclipse of either type (North or South Node) and the other being a lunar eclipse of the opposite type, and they take place within two weeks of each other. For solar eclipses, the eclipse degree is where the Sun/Moon conjunction takes place. For lunar eclipses, the eclipse degree is the degree of the Moon.

To keep things short and to the point, North Node eclipses, both lunar and solar, tend to bring increase and expansion. That can be either good or stressful, meaning it can bring people what they want or unexpected benefits, or it can cause too much of a good thing and bring on unwanted stresses. South Node eclipses tend to bring endings, subsequent vacuums, but expansion later because the past has been cleared away. In other words, North Node eclipses are harbingers of the future, whereas South Node eclipses bring closure on the past. That sort of closure is generally seen to be a loss of some sort, although the 'loss' is generally needed by a person in some way in order to clear the way for better conditions. Lunar eclipses generally give emotional expansion or release and deal more with public issues and mass consciousness. Solar eclipses are always about the relationship between Soul and the personal ego, either linking them beneficially or in highlighting where inadequate linking between the two lies.

Zero Aries Point
Therefore, to put all the factors just described together and to get a better picture of what this solar eclipse on the 22nd is about, we have a South Node Solar eclipse on what is known as a 'Zero Aries point', or a 'world view' point. In other words, this is a serious eclipse in the arena of world affairs – and also within personal relations. The effects of this eclipse will be valid for at least 3 years after the event. It is in the same Saros series as the Sep 8th eclipse, so it, too, brings endings and separations. There will be a demand to release certain of the desires of the ego. There will be a feeling of an energy leak or drain. There could be possible identity crises for people. This will definitely eventuate in the wrapping up of an old matter or old association in order that a more fitting experience can be had. In other words, this eclipse will bring an opportunity to break free of something from the past. What that will be is indicated first by the house in which the eclipse occurs and then by planets on or opposite to that degree. Something has to be contributed with this eclipse – a debt paid or a voluntary submission – and a final product of some value must be produced. We will all be forced to recognize what is valid and what is not in our lives. The level of benefits from the new starts that come from this will depend upon how well we let go of the past.

Okay, so you've probably heard the buzz about the lunar eclipse happening Tuesday night this year in BRC. Here's the details.

It will be a total lunar eclipse right on the full moon; very visible while we're in BRC. It will not be the best seats on earth, but certainly the best on this continent, and we should get darkness for as much as an hour or so. This lunar eclipse is the highest magnitude lunar eclipse since July 2000, and the next highest magnitude won't beat this until June 2011 and July 2018 (neither visible in North America). As for BRC, the Burn has never seen a lunar eclipse. In true Burner fashion, the lunar eclipse is making its virgin appearance with a spectacular display of participation.

Note that because this high magnitude lunar eclipse is taking place on Tuesday, the rest of the week will be bathed in very bright moonlight. The moon will be fuller and definitely closer than it has ever been at BRC. I imagine the possibility of seeing dust devils in the moonlight. It's possible we may have moonshadows while walking on the playa. Artists note: any use of blacklight outdoors may not produce the best effects with moonlight interference of this magnitude.

For more info, here's the USNO Astronomical Applications Department data services link. They keep great records on this stuff: www.usno.navy.mil

    Partial Solar Eclipse Tuesday Sept 11 2007 [New Moon] 8:31 A.M. EDT-5:31 A.M. PDT ->18.25<- Virgo

ECLIPSES

Every six months there is a solar eclipse, which influences us, according to where it occurs in the chart. The area of you life which is affected is determined by the house position of the eclipse. The planet in your chart the Sun last passed over prior to the eclipse determines the manner in which your life is affected.
Eclipses through the houses:

First House – This means everything that happens will be then more personally than usual. You will be more self-involved and will probably start at least one self-improvement project. Changes in personal appearance (such as a new hairstyle or a different way of dressing) are common. Circumstances may lead to temporary or even permanent personality changes. Physical changes may also occur, such as weight loss or gain. Overindulgence should be avoided; health matters may require your attention. Purchases made can be for items of personal adornment such as clothing and jewelry.

Second House – Brings financial matters to the fore. Material possessions will require your attention. Money, money, money—how to get more and or how to spend what you have. You may be up for a raise or decide to take a second job to increase your income. You may make big or important purchases at this time. You may also re-examine your values and priorities. Events may cause a change in how you see yourself.

Third House – Signifies a busy time with more physical activity in the form of running errands and making other short trips. The mind is usually more active. You may be required to give a speech or do some writing or record keeping. Papers might have to be signed. There will certainly be more correspondence and visitors than usual. Matters pertaining to brothers and sisters require attention or there is increased contact with them. You will be more involved with neighbors or there could be changes in your neighborhood. A move is possible.

Fourth House – Your family and home occupy your attention. You will be more involved with parents and their affairs, particularly your father. Real estate dealings may be stepped up. You could be involved in some way in a home improvement or home repair project. You can find yourself spending more time than usual at home. This is an excellent time to bring some long-standing situation to a conclusion. There may be a change of residence.

Fifth House – Children and their affairs can occupy you more than usual. If you are childless, then you may be involved with young people or a creative project. More time will be spent on recreation, entertainment and hobbies. This sometimes signifies a special and memorable vacation. Romance is a real possibility, and you could feel like gambling in some way.

Sixth House – Focuses on the work scene. There is more involvement with co-workers or subordinates. You may hire someone to work for you personally, such as someone to mow the lawn or a pool service or a caterer. Your health will require some attention, perhaps only a routine physical, or you will make changes in your diet or exercise routine. If you have pets, they could require attention or you might acquire a pet during these periods.

Seventh House – If you are single, personal relationships of all types require your attention. Suddenly how you get along with others is very important; you are more dependent on other people than usual. You may form (or discontinue) a serious relationship at this time. If you are married, you will have experienced some of this, as well as feeling that your life revolves around your spouse. Whether you are married or single, you may find that you are involved in confrontations or meet with opposition from others. Legal matters can arise which must be attended to. Counsel or expert advice could be sought concerning some area of life.

Eighth House - Brings the opportunity to bring some matter to an end that you have wanted to be done with; possibly something ends you wanted to keep going. This is the house of ending things so those new things can take their plaice. There could be dealings concerning taxes, insurance or legacies. Debts will be paid off (or incurred) or you may apply for a credit card or loan. For married people, this is a time of having to work more closely on joint finances. The opinions of others will affect you more strongly than usual.

Ninth House – Signifies an optimistic period. Things, or people, at a distance will become important or you may travel during this period. This could be either for business or pleasure. In extreme cases, relocation to a distant local (even a foreign country) is possible. You will be involved in learning something new, perhaps even going back to school. Religious matters or beliefs come to mind and you could be invited to at least one ceremony of some type (such as a wedding or christening). Some become involved with teaching or publishing during this period.

Tenth House – For working people, matters involving the career come to the fore. Sometimes there is so much happening at the office, or you are spending so much time at work, overtime, etc., that there seems to be little energy left for other interests. People may be in the process of changing jobs during the six months following this eclipse. Whether employed or not, you will attract attention in some way. Don’t plan on keeping a ‘low profile’ during this time. If involved in groups or organizations of any sort, you may run for an office or you may receive an award of some kind. Publicity, attention and recognition are the key words here.

Eleventh House – You will become more involved with groups of people. There could be some change in your income if it is dependent on salary. Goals or aims occupy your thoughts. Some goals may come to fruition, others begun, and still others revised. Friends will play a more prominent role in your life at this time, as you become more involved in their lives. In most cases, this time proves to be an optimistic period.

Twelfth House – Plan on spending a good deal of time alone. Contract with others and being ‘out and about’ is the less frequent. Restrictions are commonly experienced. They may be due to a variety of things; obligations, responsibilities, health problems or just a lack of opportunity, This is an introspective period, and things or people from one’s past can become objects of attention. Habit patterns, as well as motives and attitudes, should be examined and revised where necessary during this time.

Eclipses and the planets:

The planet in your chart the Sun last passed over prior to the eclipse determines the manner in which your life is affected.

Natal Sun – You’ll find yourself enforcing your own will and having to make decisions. You’ll be "in the driver’s seat," whether you care to be or not. This can draw attention to you and increase your sense of self-importance. You can use this time positively by learning to be more self-assertive if needed, but be careful you don’t get on a power trip! Since the Sun symbolizes men in general and important people, expect to be more involved with both. Important decisions are often made under the influence of this eclipse.

Natal Moon – Get ready for changes. They may be important changes or trivial, but things are not likely to be stable or steady during this time. Some will experience a more emotional response to events or their surroundings, and the imagination will be more active. Your mother or women in general, can play a more active role in your life. A positive use of this eclipse is to bring about changes you feel would be beneficial to you. Don’t try to get anything settled until after this is over, because it’s not likely to stay that way.

Natal Mercury – You’ll find yourself spending more time on the phone, papers will have to be read and signed, correspondence will have to be caught up with. Perhaps you’ll pay a visit to someone or receive more visitors than usual. Your mind will be very active, and all mental pursuits are favored. Be careful not to over commit yourself or overtire. It’s the mind that operates faster now, not necessarily the body. This eclipse favors taking up new course of study or going back to school.

Natal Venus – There will be an urge to be more materialistic, to beautify your surroundings and to socialize more. You will become more charming and seem more attractive. This is a good time for meeting and impressing new people, acquiring new things and self-improvement projects. Romances often begin under this eclipse. Redecorate your house or apartment, plan a new wardrobe or take up a new hobby. This is a perfect time for entertaining. This eclipse favors the receiving of gifts and increasing one’s income.

Natal Mars – You’ll find yourself involved in some sort of conflict with someone no matter how peace loving you usually is. This eclipse favors physical activity, which brings us to a positive solution; keep physically active and busy. You have a lot of energy right now. Direct it into competitive sports, exercise or just cleaning out that garage! When energy is not utilized, it leads to rash behavior and sometimes accidents. With the Sun last over Mars, automobiles usually require attention – buying them, maintaining them, repairing them or wrecking them!

Natal Jupiter – There’s going to be more of everything! This brings the utmost in confidence and optimism. If you can dream it, you can have it during this period. Material things, particularly status symbols, a better job, a promotion – all are within your reach. Whatever it is you’ve been wanting, now is the time to try for it. You will attract whatever is most important to you at the time in an amount depending upon how much effort you’re willing to put forth. You will find obstacles falling away. Be aware that this positive influence lasts for only a few months, so don’t make commitments you won’t be able to fulfill later. Since you may feel you can handle anything, overdoing it with food, credit cards, drugs or alcohol is easy now.

Natal Saturn – Get ready to accept more responsibility and to work harder. If you do, you could find yourself rewarded in some tangible way. If not, you could find yourself more limited or restricted. You may be placed in a position of authority or have more dealings with authority figures. Life takes on a more serious or somber tome. This is a good time to put things into perspective and see the reality of a given situation. No matter what your age, you can do some growing up at this time. Dealings with people older than you will probable are necessary. Try not to take yourself too seriously or get depressed by remembering that "to everything, there is a season."

Natal Uranus – Be prepared to meet with the unexpected. You will encounter sudden turns of events, and if you insist on careful planning and knowing exactly what to expect, you could be pretty unhappy during this period. But if you like excitement and change, or can at least adjust to it for a while, this could be a fun time. Little to do with the house or houses involved will go as anticipated. So hang loose and work on developing your flexibility now instead of getting upset. Things may work out better than the way you had them planned. Technology or new ways of doing things can be more important than usual now.

Natal Neptune – Things can sure get confused. People seem uncertain, refuse to commit themselves or prove to be deceitful. Sometimes you just can’t seem to put your finger on exactly what the situation is. The problem is probable you—you may not be direct and purposeful. Think things over carefully and get the advice of those you trust before making any important decisions or taking any action. If possible, delay any long-range plans or commitments (or major purchases) until after the sex-month influence of this eclipse has passed. You could find yourself daydreaming more and may experience a heightened interest in spiritual matters.

Natal Pluto – Any change that requires time and sustained effort is favored. Remember that sometimes you have to clean out the dead wood to make room for something new. The replacements are not likely to arrive, however, until after this eclipse has passed. Whatever is lost or changed during this time will tend to be permanent. What Pluto changes remains changed forever. Pluto acts as much on the psychological level as it does on the physical level.

Thanks, Node.

I have a question about this:

quote:
The house in your chart the Sun last passed over prior to the eclipse determines the manner in which your life is affected.

Is it the house prior to the September eclipse (which is how I'm taking it) or prior to the August eclipse?

Also, they say "passed over," so it ISN'T in the house its in at the time of the eclipse then...?

Solar Eclipse Hot spots for me:

my asc is 18 Taurus; my moon is 19 sag(8th); my venus is 18 sag(8th).

Lunar eclipse hot spots for me:

My sun is 3 aqua (10th); my chiron is 6 aries(12th); my neptune is 2 sag(7th).

I think I've got both eclipses covered. Not to mention, My 2006 eclipses activated pluto at 29 virgo (5th/6th), saturn at 15 taurus (12TH/1ST), and uranus at 13 libra(6th).

I have to look further into these and see what it means. But YIKES!

Thank You Node for great info
Just three question:
1. When is Lunar South Node Eclipse? You mean 28nd August?

2. you are talking about PAST with this Lunar Eclipse. Why PAST? Of what kind of past are we talking, something that is now is becoming PAST or some distant past?

3. What effect does this have when in same time person had Venus going direct right at top of Saturn in same time.

Off topic- but I noticed on my AOL screen that there were replies to the thread, but they are not showing...so I get on MSN and there they are. AOL isn't showing posts 5 & 6! Weird but true. OK questions.
You must first understand the physical dynamics that are causing the Lunar Eclipse. If the North Node is in Pisces that means the South Node is in Virgo. During the Eclipse on 3-3-07 the Sun was 13* Pisces that means that the Moon is in the opposite sign and in the opposite House just like the Nodes, so it is at 13* Virgo.
On 8-28 The MOON is in Pisces @ 4.46 and the SUN is in Virgo. These actions are always there in a Lunar and are constant. Physically the Moon and the sun have to be opposite for the eclipse to occur. They pass over each other. Not next to each other. Read the technical pages and graphs and it will be absorbed more fully.
And Kj I think you are referring to the part about the Aug 06 Eclipse that triggered degrees of the upcoming March 07 eclipse. So, an eclipse in degrees in the past, passed over those triggers. That is why dates and degrees are hyper important w/ eclipses, as they resonate for some time. The Venus eclipse in 04 [very rare] was felt for almost 2 years.
)on 9-11 the Sun and Moon are conjunct in 18 Virgo not opposite. It is a solar eclipse.

Oh I missed a part. And I'm going to use my chart. If I have Virgo 1st and Pisces 7H then if the Sun were in the preceding Sign before 3-3 then Sun was in Aquarius, that means that my Aquarius 6th House is triggered when the Sun moves through it. So 6H issues of day to day work, health, humanness etc are effected. Hope this helps
The fixed signs have been in the medieval style torture chamber. And Cruella is brandishing the whip, cackling with glee. Guess what? It takes heat and pressure to make a diamond.
Aquarians or those w/ heavy Aquarius influences [in particular] have all the compassion I can offer.
edit Physically in Lunar [full moon] Moon is covered by Earth's shadow. In Solar E. [new moon] Moon is passing between Earth and Sun

Node, can you comment this?

How to explain Solar Eclipse on on Sept 11. 2007 right above True Node? And it triggers at 2 deegrees up and down other planets at that axis:
Neptune
Uranus
Mars
Moon
Pluto

Strong Karmic event?

Kj- if your talking about Natal TN-- Karma and the kitchen sink are banging like a gong! The 9-11 TN is @ 7 Pisces. And I added an edit to the physical dynamics. Your questions are good for me too! I didn't remember where the Earth had to be. And that's kinda important hum mm? So, thank you!

Not mine Mustang and not for all(Natal ones), thx to Lord
Node,
Lunar Eclipse at 22nd August is at 6 deegree Piscies, but Solar Eclipse on 11th Sept is at 18:25 Virgo.
So this Solar Ecplipse at 11 Sept activates axis 18 +/- 2-3 deegrees?
It activates all planets above, and it happens right above persons Natal True Node. Strong one, isnt it?

I hope my questions help

K- Check your dates, no eclipse is on 22 Aug in 2007 0r 06. 8-28-07 degree is 4.46 for S/M Virgo/Pisces. And yes to the 9-11 degree.

So if the last planetary body that the Sun passes before the eclipse is Juno, would that be interpreted or would it have to be one of the personal planets?

Not mine Mustang and not for all(Natal ones), thx to Lord
Node,
Lunar Eclipse at 22nd August is at 6 deegree Piscies, but Solar Eclipse on 11th Sept is at 18:25 Virgo.
So this Solar Ecplipse at 11 Sept activates axis 18 +/- 2-3 deegrees?
It activates all planets above, and it happens right above persons Natal True Node. Strong one, isnt it?
I hope my questions help

K, who is it for? Can you clarify? Is that the chart for the eclipse?

Love: Juno wouldn't be considered a personal planet. It's an asteroid. A personal planet would be Merc, mars, and venus. Also the sun and moon, although technically they're considered "luminaries."

I swear to God, I'm feeling the eclipse already, FFS!

Mustang,

It is for close person I know. This person has planets at that axis.

Because Eclipses have influence on axis node, all planets 1-3 deegrees +/- deegree on this axis will be "touched".

For example, Solar Eclipse on 11. Sept. is in Virgo 18:25, so all planets on this deegree are influnced by this eclipse, with +/- 3 deegrees, no matter in which sign are planets.
Energy of eclipses fluctates from person to person. Free will, stubbornes or spiritualty...from person to person depends influence of eclipses.
I didn't feel last one in March, but I felt the one from September 2006.
