Amazing! I've read this guy's stuff before and it's exactly how I choose to think about astrology. Thanks! IP: Logged |

Excellent find mysticaldream!Thank you so much for sharing this I read the whole thing I then passed it along to a friend as well. Interesting stuff in there. Makes me kinda' wish I could afford the money and time to get a counseling session from him. Would'nt that be great? To have someone qualified sit before you for a few hours and truly anaylize your relationship with the science of why this is and how to cope with this n' that. To nourish here n' there, etc. Could be very enlightening! Wow! Again, thank you... You've got my mind going now, LOL! ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |

Nice article ^_^ how this astrologer stated that a good synastry doesn't mean that the relationship can be granted, and that a bad synastry doesn't mean that the relationship is doomed shows how he's way of interpreting astrology is not superficial. ^_^ Personally, I think that astrology tells us about the potentials.. A relationship can be easier or harder to work out.. but it doesn't mean that we can't work it out with a bit of devotion and understanding.. ^_^ And this is not just astrology - but also in real life. For me, astrology is a tool for a better understanding of the human psychological system..*edit* somehow, I also feel curious about finding an astrologer to analyze some issues for me.. coz a true astrologer doesn't just understand how to interpret the symbolism of astrology, but also understands the human psychological system.. ^_^ btw, the part which describes the fifth house of our natal charts as describing the person who we have unfinished business with is quite interesting.. I don't understand it quite well why he related this house with this, as I never thought of this house as karmic, but actually I could relate with this interpretation lol (actually I have Neptune in the fifth house).. If someone transposes a lot of their own planets into your Fourth House, he or she is likely to fill you with deep, comfortable feelings of "family." There's just an inexplicable "familiarity" there. Mutual Fourth House transpositions are common between people who go the distance with each other....our Fourth House sense of community, kinship, and absolute commitment to each other. One more comment: of all the relationship Houses, I'd say the Fourth is probably the most "adult." I say that because it relates to the stage of relationship where it would be appropriate to consider bringing new life into the world." Sooo..this is why I wanna have his kids!Suddenly it all makes sense! His Sun/Moon/Juno/Jupiter/Saturn all fall in my 4th house(Virgo). My Moon/Juno/Pluto/Vertex all fall in his 4th house(Libra/Scorpio). Hmmm...Moon & Juno double wammies!YUMMY! Great article,BTW!!

That article contains one of my all-time favorite astro quotes (which I annoyingly plunk here at LL with great frequency) From Steven Forrest: http://www.stevenforrest.com/lovehandles.html To me, in the realities of the astrological counselling room, there are two immutable premises: There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that is so inherently sweet that enough selfishness, confusion about sex, or immaturity cannot turn it sour. There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that is so inherently bitter that enough patience, devotion, and humility can not only make it last, but make it something precious to both people. More Steven Forrest?? **The Truth About Astrology** (from “The Changing Sky,” his book on transits and progressions, the followup to "The Inner Sky" delineating the natal chart) Astrology is humanity’s oldest and most precise mindmap. It cannot, however, accurately predict events. The planets hold half the cards; you hold the rest. Choices you make within the astrological environment determine what actually happens to you. We are free. No rigid, fatalistic prediction can bind us. There is no astrological event so baleful that creativity, intelligence and honest self-appraisal cannot turn it to constructive uses – and there is no configuration so glorious that selfishness and laziness cannot sour it.
