So I am just curious... I have no doubt in my mind that we don't lack people on this forum with this aspect  Lol! (Well I hope anyway  .) quote:

It sure does. Mines in Aquarius in the 5th House, conjunct the Sun.I don't really have any hangups about sex and I'm uninhibited. I've always really enjoyed sex and sensuality, it seems very natural and comes easily to me. I am very sexually confident. Even my first time, I wasn't embarrassed or afraid. I had the feeling someone i know very deeply would have this aspect...and so he has!  - my lovely bf I only have the sextile but i can directly confirm you that that statement is an ultimate true - i many times wish i had also the asc - mars trine so that i can just have his energy hihihi - but i guess that my amor conjuncting his lust also helps me on that :P Oh he also has eros conjunct asc,does that also add to the description of mars-asc trine? Omigosh...that is sooo accurate. Mars trines my ASC and so does Venus trine Mars. I tend to initiate everything in relationships. I am sensual & sex is very important to me and I love it, without being promisicous of course.

But that's the thing; Yes having a big Labido gives a person an undeniable urge to have sex but it doesn't mean you have the know-how or the connectivity per-say.There are just way too many things to consider when it comes to sex and total fulfilment of both partners engaging in it (and it goes well beyond just pleasure and emotions.) For instance (and ladies, back me up on this one) its quite evident that a girl needs way more pre-sex stimulation for her to totally get in the mood. That is why foreplay is so vital for women. Where as for men, it isn't totally so (there are offcourse exceptions in every case.) IP: Logged |

I have the sextile and this defintely doesn't apply to me; mars even trines my sun. Then again, I don't care too much about being sexual.....doesn't really interest me (and I'm heavily plutonian too  ).**Looks like the virgo moon and the square to my mars from saturn and uranus has washed this out. *sighs* Let me better explain myself. I guess I don't care much about projecting that image. I don't want to be like my friend the tart that I mentioned in the other thread. But actually, I honestly don't strive to be that either, I think it has to be something that comes natural to people, and I'm not one of those people that it does. LOL! Bad Libra Habit .No I am not saying that Mars trine Venus people don't have a big Labido; I am just questioning Cafe Astrology's interpertation of what they consider "Confidence in bed." Sensuality is confidence but that doesn't necessarily means the couple in question get home and take off like rockets Lol! So its more of a question of CA interepertation rather than your Statement Aqua . And yes you're not a man... and THAT is why I wanted to know if the general concensus about women needing more foreplay then men is true or not, because from what I personally know (trying to keep this as non-subjective here as possible Lol!) women do seem to have the need for greater foreplay. True, intelligent discussions wouldn't be so bad. Intelligent discussions would even prevent things like STD's in my opinion. Its only when its used to sell things, that's when I think it becomes cheapened. That's just my opinion anyways.

hi ^_^ hmm I have a grand trine with my Virgo ascendant, Taurus Mars and Capricorn Neptune.. 8th house Aries stellium as well.. :P
For me, sex would be one of the deepest ways of showing my affections and love feelings towards each other, and also one of the ways to connect deeply with the person I love.. It has to be with feelings, otherwise it loses its meaning for me. Maybe there's Neptunian idealism here lol.. ^_^;
But Mars is also about action and passion (and not just sex), and personally, I feel that this aspect in me has more to do with my beliefs system (9th house) rather than sexuality.IP: Logged |

Hi Xodian,my Mars (Cancer/8th house) is trine my AC in Scorpio - and I can subscribe the descripition you gave to 100%. That does not mean, that I am an uncontrolled Sex-Maniac, though! ;-) The opposite is true: I can "control" myself very well, I can "handle" my passions quite well ... I can decide when to hold back and when to let lose completely. I can "use" my erotic instincts and passions, it is one of the parts of my life that I feel most self confident in. I don't know about other women but I really don't see the need for lots of foreplay. I find myself becoming bored.  I do like it while engaging in the "act", makes for more passion. I suppose everyone is different but I prefer the rug pulled from underneath me  to the slow approach.IP: Logged |

Cassy:Taking astrology aside for a second Lol! Well it depends upon a woman's hormonal balancing . All women have estrogen as their dominant biorythmic hormone but testostrone is also present (in a smaller ratio offcourse.) Without the testostrone, it would be quite difficult to manage quick paced activities and one's own body mass. Now with some women, their testostrone count may be a bit higher then normal as comapred to others (but they still have a prodomiant estrogen ratio) and as such they are a bit more... active when it comes to physical activities as a whole (which obviously includes sex Lol!) So I may have a wild theory comming here... Could astrology be linked with our natural Biorythms? Do certain signs show the personality traits they do because they were born under a certain Biorythmic threshold? and as such their hormonal balance was naturally calibrated accordingly? Something to ponder upon. Aqua: Lol! Well I am an air sign with two very aggresive cats in my moon and Asc. tugging me one way or another. Well as I said to Cassy, in general yes its true that women desire longer periods of foreply then men but there are variations (every example has variations Lol!) Unfortunately, I have a Mars-Ascendant opposition (Mars in 6th House/Cancer & Capricorn ASC). But I have a 8th House stellium. I know that 8th house plays a very strong role in the sexuality department. But on the back end, I resort to being a loner who uses mental imagery. I can understand that Mars = Libido. But Pluto can play that path and do the same thing. ------------------
