What do you think would happen if an Aqua Sun got together with a Pisces Sun?

Has anyone ever had this relationship?

I know it depends on other placements, but I don't have them yet.

Thanks

Well as you say our relationship is a lot more than that, but i can try and single out the aquarius and pisces sun parts of our relationship for you (although its pretty difficult, as my moon and mercury are in aquarius too)

So ive been with my pisces sun fiancé a good few years. Hes soft, hes gentle and quiet and respectful, wise, a gentleman...Im talkative, i like words and i think lots, im always pushing for answers, and to be honest i can have quite a sharp temper (linked aswell im sure to the fire in me, and a condition i have)

It took time for me to sink into his waterness, get over the fact that he doesnt think so much as sense, and that hes not so good with words. It frustrated me for a good few months. Id snap at him because he wasnt expressing everything, i thought he had something to hide and was cold. He still seems cold sometimes, but then im sure i do, too, like when im harsh with the words i DO say

Weve found common ground in our beliefs and a certain caringness, for other human beings and other animals too

Anyway im just throwing out random words now, but in summary, i think

I help to give him self-confidence, confidence generally and help him express himself more

Hes taught me a huge number of things, mainly i think to respect peace, gentleness, quiet, subtlety...fully. Im a much calmer person than i was

One problem we do have is getting along on this planet. Weve completely mastered being together and blending our personalities, but neither of us have a clue when it comes to, say, money

Anyway good luck

Oh, and i forgot to say...hes the first to have fully understood. And i know he does. He gets my aquarianness completely, knows exactly why i am like i am. I understand him, too, now

ALSO forgot (so forgetful) to mention-we have a kind of...i suppose "psychic" connection. It sounds unbelievable, but we noticed we knew how eachother was feeling and thinking...so one day we tried to send eachother thoughts...like:

"Im thinking of an object"

***HUGE AMOUNT OF ENERGY USED***

"Its round"

"Yes"

"Its an egg"

We can do numbers, letters, or random objects, with quite a high success rate. We havent done that for many months though, we decided we didnt want to harnass it and control it so much as that, but rather let it be free and come as it comes

Although I've never experienced this romantically, I have in friendship. Yes... I've had tons of Pisces Sun friends (as the casual acquaintance type and as the most reliable trustworthy friend ever type). The same thing goes for Pisces mooners. If they're not a Pisces sun, it's quite likely that they have pisces moon (of course there are exceptions too).

The most prominent thing about the pisces sun buddies has been that they've fully understood me as well. I can be myself with them...if I'm crazy, they're crazy with me and we have a hell of a time together. They know when i'm feeling melancholy and need my space and everything. Being rather reserved and solitary when I'm alone in a group or somewhere, people are often surprised when they suddenly see my personality reveal itself with these piscean folks.

My highly Aquarian-colored Pisces soul (sun) is ALWAYS attracting Aqua suns to myself.

While not sun sign compatible, if other factors are forgiving, then it can be a blessed union...always with challenges, but quite blessed.

Do, remember, tho...what do you get when you combine very warm waters (Pisces) with icy cool air (Aquas)????

A very dense fog....

Bware!!!

Hi Mustang!

One of the most significant relationships of my life was with an Aquarius man. (I being the Pisces of the mix, obviously!) He has a Virgo moon, and I have my moon in Gemini.

Just like Verseau, we can also read eachother's minds in the same way. OUr noticing that fact is how we became so attached in our younger years. We're no longer in a relationship, but we're still great friends and are very important to eachother 22 years after meeting.

We would dream of eachother on the same night after not talking for a few years, (the same dream) and he'd call or I would and we'd start up again! His dreams were of us in past lives. He almost has vivid "memories" of them and talks about things I was wearing or doing then nostalgically.

In terms of how we got along and view eachother...

Physically, we were eachother's ideal. He's big and strong and protective...sigh...all that a Pisces girl could want. To him I was independant and a little headstrong, but petite and very girly...so he could be "the man!"

He was a bit wild and I had a calming effect on him.

One thing that Linda said in her Sun Sign book was that an Aquarius man will never forget his "first love." That doesn't mean his first girlfriend...but that first connection. Luckily, I got to be that for him (and him for me too).

Ways that we didn't get along...

He would get into fights and I hated that. I wasn't so verbal with expressions of love and affection...and he hated that.
Our emotional reactions were very different. If I was upset, I'd "flip the switch" on my emotions and shut them off. This drove him crazy. When he was upset, he'd "turn up the volume" on his emotions and go a bit crazy!

I forget important dates and details, and he doesn't forget anything. I still call him when I forget about something that happened years ago! He can retell it like it was yesterday!

I wouldn't have traded the experience for anything.

Regardless of circumstances or anything else that happens in our lives, we will always have that "unique" connection between us. It's a great comfort in this world. He's still my touchstone!

Mustang: Pisces girl that has been involved with a Aqua man for over three years now..It can be very magical..I have Aqua moon,Venus,Merc and rising so I think that makes things even more intense..A Pisces/Aqua relationship is purely spiritual to me..My Aqua man has never had a lady like me, the things that I bring scares him and intrigues him as well..When it comes to love sometimes I think we are not on the same wave length or shall I say the way that we express love..The good thing about Pisces is that we can read into Aqua's and know that its really love that they are feeling even if they can't say it..This union takes time to become something but I think that once it evolves if it evolves its wonderful...

Yes this is so real, I can always know when he is thinking about me, I feel it in my soul and we always finish each other sentences..

Neighbouring signs tend to be good together. My aqua bf was very cool, there’s nothing conventional about him…he wasn’t like every other guy hence caught my attention. And I think that’s what pisces looks for – we have a big imagination and dislike mundane.

The pisces aqua connection is very weird. It’s not deep, or even spiritual…more like a comradely because we’re both unique. Like two aliens from different planets come to earth…who may not even have anything in common, but recognise neither one “belongs” here, and a connection is formed. I guess it is deep.

I just asked a similiar question about a certain Pisces man I'm involved with.

We've got a comfortable connection...very witty, friendly dynamic. We're both intelligent, so we definitely appreciate that about eachother.

He is bundle of contradictions, I definitely understand the "two fish" concept.

On minute he seems very sensitive, and he needs praise & encouragement for his self esteem... but he does a lot of "bragging" for himself as well.

He'll flirt with girls in front of me, but then he'll be full of strong flattery and compliments for me.

And he likes to "show" me how to do things, or "teach" me things...very "mentor"-esque, but suddenly he'll want me to nuture him and become very childlike. It's wierd how the roles change so drastically, so quickly.

The great thing about him is that he is very straightforward, and he likes his space, as do I. Being an aqua, I can't stand very clingy relationships...... neither one of us get offended or jealous, we're compatible in the sense that we live on another planet, in our own little worlds... we understand how the other can "forget" practical things like returning calls!

WOW! What great responses! You all sound so happy

I noticed you all said that you had a telepathic type connection. That's very interesting. It isn't something you read when reading compatibility between these two signs. Maybe it has been overlooked...?

I haven't known many Pisces men or women, myself. The only sign I had this telepathy with was my aries best friend, but her ascendant was in aquarius. I also had it with an aries man-friend. I wonder if I'd have it with a pisces...I may find out.

Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman (whom I LOVE; he's so awesome, hot, and sexy!)are an aqua sun-pisces sun match, and they've been together forever. They have moon signs in each other's sun signs, though. His is in pisces, her's in aquarius.

Mustang~~~

When the awesome powers of Uranus and Neptune combine....look out! (lightening within the realm of deep sea is just plain unfathomable......)

For me there is nothing like a air/water relationship....esp. Pisces and Aqua but the fog can be trickey!

Blessings

I, being Pisces, dated an Aquarian. There can be a lot of chemistry there but I found it hard at first for them to understand my sensitivity. Also they seem to have a strong desire to be around lots of freinds and at times I felt more like one of his buddies instead of his girlfriend. We had the telepathic thing happening at times as well

Yeah this was a problem with us as well I am sensetive and compassionate and he's not really. Yes they love to be around their friends and well if they can kill two birds with one stone by hanging out with their girl and the boys/friends its a wonderful evening for them..Personally I enjoy it excpet when I am in a very, hot and romantic mood, but he knows then to lose them..I have so much Aqua in me I love hanging with his friends too..

Air/water relationships have been like this for me:

Cancer: No chemistry. Nothing there.
Scorpio: Bad! But something there.
Pisces: No experience
with them.

Interestingly enough, I hated how the scorpio guy always had to have a million friends around all the time. I don't like that. I'm more into one on one time at home. He was beyond social. Very gossipy, too. Yuck!

Terri:

The fog sounds a bit scary. Can you elaborate? Is it mental, emotional?

Mustang---

Ok. First my “credentials.” I am a Pisces sun, but highly Aquarian…I have a fine stellium of Mercury, Jupiter and Mars in close conj in Aqua in the 3rd opposed to Uranus the ruler of Aqua himself. I also have Saturn in Aqua in the 3rd but to a much lesser degree. My stellium squares my Taurus moon in the 6th and my Scorp Asc---so,,, I SO get Aquas and I get us too….

And---I am an elemental astrological apprentice---I do not take too much to this rock or that, to this weird aspect or that. I embrace the basic principals of astrology. My perceptions are based highly on experience many years and of book study.

The Fog---

When lightening strikes and moves the deep undercurrents of god…something is about to happen…

Here is my experience, summarized with the Aqua males and to a lesser extent the Aqua females (I have an Aqua daughter as well and a dear Aqua gfriend) that have come into my life….

Upon first meeting (and keep in mind this is coming from a female) there is lightening---really I have felt sparks fly, but quickly the watery Pisces sends his/her watery warmth back and subdudes, a bit, the sparks…..But,,,,there is intruigue. I have often said and please take this statement as metaphoric rather than literal, the Aqua male is so captivated by the witch and the witch the Pisces female can be….but a good witch not bad…..She is the ultra femanine, she loves, she emotes, she expresses, she FEELS, she heals!!! The Aqua feels and feels deeply, but cannot express…can not emote. The Aqua sees/feels in her what he feels within and that is so much of the attraction. And, Aqua is a very intellectually masculine sign…”let me impress you pretty little Pisces with my intellect!” And by god, they do for me!!! That is what turns me on first and foremost in a man is intellect!

Anyway the interactions continue, the Pisces with her/his awe of the intellect and wit and aloofness of the Aqua (we Pisces need a lot of time alone too, due to psychic sensitivity and the Aqua aloofness impresses us!) The Aqua is quite enamored with the Piscean ability to re-late and emote, to feel…..

But there is this weirdness, this strange feeling almost drugged….Like the most refined opiat, the finest wine, the most distilled tequila….the Fog ensues….

Elementally the water and air have mixed, have melded….Really, in the physical universe, think about it. You drive down a country road, early in the morning, before dawn, when the air is COOL and the moisture is WARM what happens??? Fog! And what does fog produce----a feeling of “what am I getting into? Where is the light at the end of the tunnel. I can not see to the left to the right, behind, infront, where am I going???” But…if you BE in the moment…if you stop (mentally) and take it all in it is SO cool! To be suspended, to be floating in the mix of air and water. I have done this. I have stopped to think, to feel and while I can not actually “see” where I am going I “know” I will get there.

The Pisces/Aqua relationship is like this! You will never be able to actually know exactly where it is going….but you will always know/feel it will be ok!!! Like the beautiful dense fog floating upon the warm waters of a early morning pond or high in the mountains…you will never be able to see exactly where it will end up, but you will always feel….It will be ok…

Funny thing is, with Aquas and Pisces there will always be challenges. And that is, I believe all part of it…part of re-lating. To learn, to grow.

I think Pisces and Aquas will always have an attraction to eachother that goes beyond time and space. But maybe I am partial since I am an Aquarian-colored Pisces.

Be Blessed!!!

Terri

Right on, Terri!

The cool thing is...that the connection and the "buzz" is also lasting.

Not only the great energy from the past relationship, but one of my best friends is an Aqua too. She and I adore eachother and have also had a "destined" kind of meeting and friendship.

I think it's cool what some of you have said about it working both ways.

I always thought that my relationship w/ my Aqua man worked so well because he was SUCH a man and I was so darn girly...kinda what our sun signs imply.

SO this works well for an Aqua woman and Pisces man too I see...Wow!

Great thread, Mustang!

BTW---

The Air/Water----Water/Air natives live this suspendedness of a vague fog----

Floating, coming, going, in, out.....

In relationships, it can be both a blessing and a curse...

Terri, what you wrote sounds like it should be in a book!

It sounds like the fog is the result of neptune overwhelming uranus.

I had a friend when I was a teenager who was a piscecs. We got along really well. We never bickered. There was no fog, but we were just friends.

In the compatibility books, they make this combo sound bad, but I don't think it is.

Mustang~~~

Writing is a hobby of mine....I write all of the time...

No, I do not think the Aqua/Pisces relationships are necessarially "bad" either. Nor any other text book incompatible relationship for that matter. But who is to define bad...challenging, yes, but that is what we are here for (I think )

Personally, I would get bored with a relationship that astrologically is based upon trines, sextiles and easy conjunctions.

I love Aquas, but I love air signs anyway!!!

I do think, however that when contemplating the Pisces/Aqua interaction there need be some commonality to be long-lasting. The air/water relationship would probably have to have some components of the air/water--water/air native in each of the individual's charts inorder to function at all.

Great topic!!!

I have never attracted any other sign more than Aquarius and I never understood why. Everywhere I go there is an aqua either attracted to me or good friends with me.

We usually get along very well, talk about everything there is to talk about. Nothing is too crazy or too stupid to talk about between us. Things I say that would usually make other people think I am very wierd Aqua's understand inmediatly and I really enjoy that.

There is never a dull moment or any silence between Pisces and Aqua, and Aqua's enjoy listening to what Pisces has to say and vice versa.

Neighboring signs often are "not total strangers", so to speak - for example, a Pisces may well have Mercury or Venus in the sign of Aquarius OR an Aquarius may have Mercury or Venus in Pisces - and the same goes for all neighboring signs, which definitely helps a lot and makes the initially difficult Sun connection between air and water (or fire and earth etc.) much easier.

I'm am in this relationship, but by moon signs. Don't know if that counts for anything?!

I have the Aquarius moon and my OH has the Pisces moon. We're pretty compatible, I think - granted were both have Taurus sun's, (plus other harmonious factors!). But strip all the rest of it away and I still like what you're left with....!

Without wishing to offend anyone here, Aquarius and Pisces are the two weirdest, oddball signs of the zodiac - lets face facts! They may be eccentric and in very different ways, but the fact that they are both eccentric anyway, makes them both stand out from the crowd. This automatically creates a mutual understanding - a common ground between the fish and the water bearer. They are both so far removed from anyone else's way of thinking, that they can rely on each other for support when the loneliness creeps in - even if they differ in opinions and ideas themselves, which is often the case! It's very much about them both finding comfort and protection with each other, against the rest of the big wide world - a world that often doesn't understand them.

Aquarius and Pisces are also noted as the two most psychic/telepathic/intuitive signs of the twelve. I can vouch for this! I've never met anyone before my OH that could read my mind and likewise, I seem to be able to tell what he's thinking/feeling at any given time. It's eerie but nice at the same time. But occasionally there are times when the connection seems cut off - perhaps due to the fog that hippichick described? I relate to the fog metaphor well. Pisces, who can sometimes live in a world of dreamy emotion and denial can sometimes overwhelm the often robotic, logical Aquarian, who in turn can seem to smash the dreams of the fish, when the water bearer's legandary 'coolness' sets in. But these seem to be (in my experience anyway), temporary blips. Because of their ability to tap in to each other's thought's and feeling's, they can always take comfort in just 'knowing' the other one's true emotions - even if they each don't understand how the other came to the conclusions they did! PHEW!

Imagine a crackling bolt of Uranian Lightning followed by a calm Neptunian mist. You could use this analogy to help describe what each sign brings to the other. Aquarius brings clarity, logic, brilliance and adventure to Pisces. In turn, Pisces brings dreams, romance, emotion and a little bit of magic to Aquarius. I love these two signs together - theres so much more potential than with your average semi-sextile relationship!!!

Oh, and....

quote:
The Pisces/Aqua relationship is like this! You will never be able to actually know exactly where it is going….but you will always know/feel it will be ok!!! Like the beautiful dense fog floating upon the warm waters of a early morning pond or high in the mountains…you will never be able to see exactly where it will end up, but you will always feel….It will be ok…

YES YES YES!
