You might want to have a look at Eris, the Goddess of Strife and Discord – it’s exactly opposing your Saturn/Neptune right now. ‘Course since its orbit is 560 years long, this one ain’t goin away anytime soon….. it was conj your Venus 30 years ago ;-)) and natally it’s sextile your Mars – It sometimes seems to me that the sextile aspect “excites” the energies of whatever planets are involved….. (interesting side-note: Bonehead here only realized a short time ago that sextiles can only be Earth to Water and Fire to Air, unless you have very late/early-degree planets in aspect) 
tMars is squaring your Vertex now, but I don't think that has much to do with your “impatient, uncompromising, on edge” emotional weather pattern….. but when you wrote you were feeling a bit bullish, my first thought was that you might be feeling the first tickly tendrils of Mars to Sun 
And Uranus/Moon thrown into the mix too?? Speaking of which, the tMoon was opp tUranus today and sq nMoon – not surprising you felt a bit edgy…..
