This year (probably last year as well), for me it's been.. Anthony Hopkins as Burt Munro in "The World's Fastest Indian". I absolutely loved this movie and I love his part in it. In real life, just looked him up, Burt Munro was an Aries.. and Anthony Hopkins is a Capricorn.. I have an Aries Sun, Capricorn Moon and Mars.

I love his spirit, his strength of character.. and the fact that he never gives up and he follows his dream through to completion! In the movie, he seems like a very genuine, honest person (not sure what he was actually like) – very down to earth and cares about everyone, always treats people equally – including the transvestite girl in the movie.. I absolutely love this attitude and I try to be like this myself. I guess he inspires me to be optimistic and never let anything get in my way.. which I am normally, but every boost helps.. I think he’s a great person overall.. or a great “character” – either way..

There are several Aquarians that I admire like Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres and Abe Lincoln (what a threesome!).

I admire Madonna for never quitting. It's taken her a long time to get respect (and certainly she does not have everybody's). She has had many public failures, but she keeps at things until she at least gets them done OK. I'm not sure if that's her native Leo vanity or Leo's energy? I think she also has her asc. as Aquarius, and may add the twist in her personality that is seeking spotlight yet also something slightly different to bring to the mainstream.

Mariah Carey - more so in her younger days. I love how she's so strong, yet dreamy. Shes amazing. An Aries sun where I am Gemini. I've always identified with her & her music.

I mostly look up to my friends though:

One of them has an Aquarius Sun and Aries Moon, and I look up to her because she's just so sweet and accepting. She's also very driven and is very friendly, sociable, and attractive. She's almost flawless.

I admire another one of my friends because she doesn't take things too personally. She's able to let minor criticisms roll off her back, and doesn't spend forever worrying about them. Leo Sun, Cancer Moon.

I look up to another friend of mine because she is unbelievably focused and driven. She already has her entire career completely planned, and she will probably achieve it. Capricorn Sun, Leo Moon.

There's also a girl I was friends with in elementary school that I admire because she's the only person I've ever met who really doesn't care what other people think of her. I kinda wish I could be more like that. Aries Sun, Aquarius Moon.

I admire my older cousin because she is very hardworking, very sweet, and attractive. Pisces Sun, Virgo Moon.

Finally, the person I admire the most is a girl I was friendly with about 4-5 years ago. I only knew her for a few months, but I loved her so much. She was very friendly, extremely accepting, and just had a very soft touch to her. She was the most beautiful person I've ever met, both inside and out. This girl symbolized something for me, but to this day I'm not completely sure why or what she stood for to me. Aries Sun, Libra Moon.

also, my grandfather(sag sun/gemini moon), great man, traveled the world and did what he loved as a job. inspiring on so many levels.

my boss who is an aries sun and taurus moon, she is so kind, and gentle, and has the kind of personality that i admire because she has the charisma to make everyone love her for who she is and not be fake about it. shes down to earth and really cares about people. always smiling and happy.

on a silly note, i really adore/admire john cleese, he makes me laugh silly and love his humor, charm, and looks. hes a scorpio/aries moon and jupiter).
