Topic: Odd synastry confused? Overall relationship

Silly me just discovered that Astro.com actually gives synastry aspects and I dont have to sit there calculating, which led me to see things I didnt before. For some odd reasons my aspects to my bf's seem very harmonious overall...there are more positive then negative. But from his side there are more negative than positive of the same planets. What does that say for the whole relationship? Would it balance out? Its very karmic, there are a lot of harsh outer planet aspects, but not so much destructive just painful...a lot of chiron aspects for me (bad ones). What would that say? IP: Logged |

I don't know...I happen to be a fan of good ol' Chiron.His Chiron conj your sun is a great aspect. I have this with the most significant relationships in my life. The ones that feel like soul connections. With your Chiron opposite his moon, and his Chiron opp your Saturn, it sounds like there's lots of karma, with great opportunity for healing...especially since you mentioned that otherwise you have a lot of other harmonious aspects! What is your overall feeling about the relationship? 8th

Hmm well its very interesting. I read Linda Goodman's relationship signs (i loveee that book) and well it seems a very intense relationship with which i agree. There are a lot of karmic binding aspects that hold us together, but also a lot of Uranus aspects that pull us apart. Basically we have like 5-8 aspects that say "this can only be survived if there are other harmonious aspects in the chart" and about as many that say "this aspect will smooth out any imaginable problems and make your bond unbreakable". Which basically leads us to have 40 + breakups (we counted) and at the same time still be the best relationship I have been in. When we fight its horrible, when we dont its the best. And it comes and goes rather unexpectedly (WAY a lot of Uranus aspects). But i guess my main concern is I really feel that he is THE one and i don't want some stupid little thing to break us apart. At the same time I also don't want to be unhappy. We do decide to work on things and for a while everything is perfect and then stuff starts to surface out of no where and its hell again. Its really tough...it seems like we both somehow hurt each other in past lives (according to Linda). I don't know what to think honestly, its basically my main research topic in astrology. Looking for better insight into this relationship and myself. Thanks so much for the input by the way, i really appreciate it ------------------

Ahhhh...Uranus. Have lots of that too. My guy can make a comment and my blood boils (and I'm not usually all that reactive). A few days later it comes clear that what he meant wasn't even close to my original interpretation.I'm starting to realize that when I get that blood boilin feelin that it IS Uranus. I know now not to react outside until my head clears. I often wonder if there are others "out there" who have this Uranus experience too and have found a positive way to make the relationship work around it! 8th Moon IP: Logged |

I couldnt help myself on comment on this thread:BUD ( :blushing aCCORDING to Magi Atrology, its better to have Kiron aspects,then to have it not.
To occur the healing it must occur also the pain - as it is a process that implies that the 2 persons open themselves to the deepest wounds and that is really thought in the beggining. I also have tons of kiron - sun/kiron skuare and trine;mOON-kiron conj ;uranus/kiron oposes;kiron/venus trine and skaure;jup/kiron opose,mars/Kiron opose and Q;kirons conj; kiron/nep/pluto kikunkx; kiron/pluto bQ and kiron/AC trine and sextile. So,isnt this a double deep "sigh"???? - right now im feelin the pain, and i hope be feeling the healing very soon ( really hope) EightMoon, Right now that pain ive talked about might came from a Uranus thing..as i felt exaclty like you and it was not the 1st time! - How can those Uranus aspects makes this? Eighth Moon - I know exactly where you are coming from. He will say or do something and I just flip out, and instead of smoothing it over he will just push me further and as a Scorpio moon i get vengeful and do the same. It becomes a big mess really. I tried for a bit to work on it and it does certainly go away when u acknowledge it but there are times when get too tired. Our Uranus contacts are

And while we do have some Cinderella aspects cuz of Chiron we also have a few Nuclear Clashes and a Heartbreak Clash so thats that...i just kinda ignore the situation or else id be more worried than I already am. I really do hope for the best though. ------------------

Idk how close you two were born together,
But outer planets/slow moving planets...in aspect to other outer planets/slow moving planets aren't as important (if you two were born around the same year, especially)
So aspects like Pluto sextile Neptune and Saturn conjunct Saturn or Uranus conjunct Uranus aren't as significant unless they have a prominent placement in the chart (1st house, chart ruler, etc. IP: Logged |

And another thing, no matter how bad a synastry or composite chart seems...remember that the energies that are in the individuals' natals are often repeated..
For example
Synastry wise, my BF and I have some pretty important contacts, but also wuite a few tough ones... To name a few.. His Pluto is square my Moon
His Pluto is square my Mars
His Uranus opposes my DC
His Mars is square my Mars
His Venus is conjunct my Saturn
His Venus is opposite my Chiron
His Mercury is conjunct my Saturn
His Sun is opposite my Chiron Those are some pretty intense and heavy aspects...(and I still left out quite a few). But the theme in his chart, is that his 7th house ruler, Mars is conjunct Pluto in Scorp...anyway, we BOTH have the Pluto/Moon square....He has a Mars/Pluto conjunction (I have the square), I have Uranus opposite DC, HE has Venus conjunct Uranus, His natal Venus is opposite Chiron, I have Chiron conjunct DC in the 7th, He has a natal Mercury/Saturn conjunction...I have a very wide conjunction of Mercury/Saturn (10.5 orb)
We have broken up a bajillion times and today we're stronger than most couples we know..
Remember harsh aspects are only called *harsh* aspects because they force you to deal with the energy directly because the energy is always there. You feel the power of a conjunction, square, and opposition much stronger than the softer aspects (if you notice these at all!). Harsh aspects, especially when they come from Chiron, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn force you to deal with issues and grow or get out now and never look back. Him having "harsher" aspects than you can simply mean that he's more aware of "rough" spots than you are. It doesn't mean he likes you any less or that it's negative. "Bad" aspects usually equate to more energy, so if anything he may feel he's throwing himself wayyyyyyyyyyy into this, while you feel it all comes naturally.
I feel they balance out...you help each other grow!

alanabelle - thats very inspiring. Because we also break up so manyyy times and people just say we are living a lie because if we break up that much then we cannot possibly rebuild all the trust and everything. And its very hard. We are a year apart (both geminis). I just wonder why is it I have to deal with so many hard lessons, its true some of our harsh aspects could be found in my own natal chart so it could be just a projection. But at the same time I seem to get hurt an aweful lot to the point that I shut down emotionally. I am a Gemini with Libra rising but my Scorpio moon is very very prominent in my chart. It is conjunct my Pluto in the first house. And my Taurus venus is in the 8th. So when it comes to emotions im impossibly cautious. I'm just terrified of getting hurt...IP: Logged |

Those are very good points about the outer planets being less important when you're close in age... I'd never thought of that. Also the idea of harsh aspects being more energy. I in fact just did a progressed composite with my ex, and we are still very good friends - well, our friendship is very good and we have no problems, but our progressed composite is FULL of harsh aspects. Looking at it, I would think we would be arguing all the time - in fact there's a t-square pointing to Mercury. I have to say there is never a harsh word spoken, and no arguing, but there is LOTS of talking. (It's a close friendship but nothing more).True also about aspects repeating themselves. Eg my bf is Pluto square sun, and our composite has Pluto square sun. To me, that just means this is the energy that he brings to it and it affects the relationship.
