No, no, no...I'm looking for success stories of relationships between Leo Sun WOMEN and Scorpio Sun MEN. I know a couple Leo Sun/Taurus Moon woman, Scorpio Sun/Taurus Moon man. They met in high school, and dated for 9 years.
They lasted a long time, idk whether to chalk that up to the fixed combination between them. However, their relationship was very turbulent, with frequent cut-offs and cold periods, paired with "hot" times and close times. To this day, they only separated because the guy moved to SC to follow his dreams and the girl wouldn't follow.
She was always asked to adjust herself to fit his needs, and she was always screaming for attention that he called "childish" and was less inclined to give. Despite all their problems, their love was powerful (and still is!), they're best friends, and it was all-encompassing. They still see each other as soulmates and she's waiting for him (despite knowing he may move on) because he was the only true love she'd ever wanted. Romantic, I know. But it's 100% the truth. That's how they were, I envied them 
Very high passioned affair. Scorpio Men supress it, but they are a dramatic sort, only it's on a deeper level than where Leo's thirst for drama resides.
Leo is just drama, through action and expression. Scorpio is drama through experience and emotion. It's more "potent" and intense..probably because it's bottled up. Add those qualities to a man, who stereotypically, doesn't enjoy showing that kind of emotion and you get high passions flying everywhere. Leo Woman will bring it out of him.
I'll tell you one thing though, the passion *never* died. However, I'd check the other aspects in the chart to back all of this up.

alanabelle your story worries me and gives me hope at the same time. It sounds as if the leo woman is more committed, i.e. more willing to compromise. This seems to be in my case though.
I'm also a Leo/cancer girl in love with a scorpio/leo. I think the dramaticism and/or depth of one's emotions also depends on moon, neptune and pluto, no? and venus to venus?

Idk why it worries you. Their love isn't over. The circumstances under which the Leo woman could not go overbeared her decision anyway. She's in college, she lives with her parents. She has no money, and isn't ready to uproot herself to live in a completely different state where she knows no one. And every couple is very, very different. Astrology isn't everything.Aspects are very, very important. You shouldn't be worried because their synastry is independent from yours.
Generally, if a Scorp is even talking to you they're commited to something..whether it's what you want or not (Trust me, I know...AND your guy is a Scorp/Leo like me...)
Look at all the synastry aspects, as well as the composite, davison, etc.
Tough aspects doesn't mean it won't work. I'm a very Plutonian Scorpio dating a very Jupiterian Sagittarius. Tell me about tough ------------------
