Hi guys!!!!! I'm new here and wanted to say that you guys seem like a nice bunch of people, so I'm very excited to meet you all! Anyhow, I'm in college and I think I'm sure that I like what I'm doing and where I'm gonna go after that career wise...however, I was wondering if someone could take a look at my natal chart and give me some feedback on what area it seems like I'd be most successful in. Thanks!
My natal data is as follows:
December 23, 1987
4:39 AM EST
Holyoke, Massachusetts

Hi there!

I'm not an expert, but I'll try to help.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a really bad temper? When I looked at your chart, I saw mars and pluto in the 12th house. Usually people with this placement have suppressed rage, but this isn't always true...

Anyway, I didn't see any planets in your house of career, so I looked at the midheaven. You have pluto and neptune aspecting the midheaven.

Neptune means your career will undergo unexpected changes. It's a good placement if you want to go into the entertainment industry, take care of the sick (medicine) or if you want to have some ocean-related career like a marine biologist.

You also have Pluto aspecting the midheaven, which is a good placement for psychology, medicine or even anything to do with destruction.

For you, I would lean more towards a career in medicine, social work or psychology rather than entertainment because you have your sun in the second house (you love security and you're realistic).

You also have mercury in Capricorn in the second house so you handle money well. You're probably not a gambler based on this aspect anyway.

Since you have a very sharp mind and want stability, I suggest a career in medicine or anything that involves a strong intellect. You also have Scorpio rising, which gives you the endurance needed to undergo many years of training.

There are probably other aspects to consider, but this is the best I can do for now.

Good luck!

Hi again!!!!! Thanks for your reply, Astra. And in response to what you said about having a bad temper, YEAH I have a little bit of a temper...but I typically take it out on the the tennis court. lol. Plus my moon/venus conjunction in aquarius helps a lot too. But I gotta say, when I want something, I want it BAD and like to go after it with everything I got. Some more of that mars/pluto for ya....

Anyways, I appreciate your feedback on my career question. I'm actually a science major right now studying to go into medicine. BUT, I've also always been into music- I'm both a singer and an instrumentalist. And you are right about me being very security driven...I'm not much of a risk taker. I guess I'm just curious to see if there is an indication of me making a good income out of singing/performing or if it might be better that I stick to what I'm doing. I could see myself being happy going into medicine..but I suppose I wanna know if there is another good option.

And thanks again- I'm a newbie on here, so I was pleasantly surprised to get a response so quickly!!!

You're very welcome!

You have Neptune aspecting the midheaven, so you could probably do very well in the entertainment industry. But given the fickle nature of entertainment and the music industry, I suggest getting a solid college degree. You can always pursue music later.

I have this one professor who is a physician, a pharmacological researcher and he can sing opera. So the lesson: feel free to pursue your dreams but remember to have something safe to fall back on.
