hi i'm a beginer in astrology and i was wondering if the ascendant ever changes into another sign.

sun in leo
moon in gemini
rising in tuarus

nope, the ascendant that you have when you were born is the one you keep forever...

but generally speaking the ascendant changes every 2hours, but it depend on where you were born.

i was thinking that since that since there was progressed charts where planets change into different signs that it could work for the rising sign to. My rising is in tuarus and I HATE it.Wy do other planets change but not the ascendant?

Yes. Your AC does progress over time, you can see where it is in the progressed chart option on Astro.com.

However, just because it changes sign doesn't mean your natural ascendant changes.

For example:

I'm a Sagittarius Ascendant. Generally, my personality is optimistic, adventurous, free-wheeling, and a little too generous. However, my Progressed Ascendant is Capricorn. As of late, I've become more mature, observant, and down to earth. I take far less risks, but only because I'm extra cautious now and more aware of the harsh effect of consequences. I've also become more materialistic. However, I'm still the same philosophical, fun-loving, daredevil at heart.

The Progressed AC (when it changes sign) is correlated to a shift in your outlook on the world and personality.

yea, if you mean in a progressive chart yea it does change but like the person above said it only changes your outlook overtime it does change who you are...which is anything in your natal chart...no position is bad it's about owning it and making the best choices.

but why do you hate your ascendant ? My best friend has a Taurus ascendant and i admire her for what she achieved ! She is a very ambitious person .

I dont like my ascendant because everyine in my family has aries,sag,or libra rising . I'm the only one with an earth ascendant. And my rising sign is so much different from my leo sun i wish i was a double leo or something.

my friend is a Leo sun with a Taurus rising. I think it`s a great combination for fullfiling your dreams. and yes i can imagine how stuborn you are !

what about your mercury venus and mars? My best friend is a leo rising too. I bet you have great hair and really know how to light up a room just guessing. DO you like high adrenaline pumping sports I think thats what aries moons like to do. I think.

oh yes i have Venus Mars Pluto t-square ! With Venus square Mars,Moon square Mars Mars conjunct Pluto and Moon opposing Pluto...oh boy !!

But these are lessons i have to learn and i am not that scared.

You seem to know alot about astrology. you wouldnt happen to know about boys with venus in virgo would you. thats my dream crushs venus sign. we have all the same planets except for the ascendant I dont know what his is. we are both leos with merc,venus, mars in virgo and a gemini moon.maybe its fate. by the way i have a bit of a square hoing on in my chart as well my moon and mars dont quite get along with each other.you never did tell me how long you've been into astrology.

yes a t square is when two planets opposing eachother both square a third one. I don`t know that much about astrology but i`ve always been curious to find more and more about me.(probably due to my Uranus opposing Chiron )
Venus in Virgo is a difficult placement because Venus here is in it`s fall. It also coresponds to Venus in 6th house (the natural placement for Virgo).So as i told you in the other post Venus in Virgo need to be of service to the people they love.They also need their lover's to be neat, tidy, organized, on time, clean, just like they are. You`ve probably already noticed they`re a bit slow to warm up
