I need some input from your experience! I have a book, 'Planets in Synastry' by EW Neville that I've practically worn out. But his opinion is that the planet person is the one that, in this case, 'feels all the rushes of emotion and ecstasies..' which are triggered by the house person.I would think it would be the other way around! The house person would get all weak kneed around the Mars person! What's your experience? IP: Logged |

Yes, I thought it was the opposite way round to that too, ie the Sun/Venus/Saturn of one person lights up or darkens or brings energy (Mars) to the other person's area of life - the house.I have some personal experience of things being that way round too - for example I triggered an identity crisis (not a negative one!) in someone whose first house was illuminated by my Sun. Ive commented on another mars 5th house thread but in my experience when someone's mars is in my 5th they get the hots , esp when supported by other aspects, theirs is usually conj my uranus [in the 5th] so that can be a turn=on aspect. But when my mars has been in their 5th [also usually accompanied by my venus and moon in their 8th] I get singing to high heaven in my head about my desires for them. There are too many factors to consider. correct time of birth is essential. In my experience the planet person can at the very least feel what "area" they're automatically tuning into in relating to the house person. There is not one Merc in Cap person I meet [at the acquaintance level or beyond] who does not want to know every exact detail of what I go through in my day [classic example of their mercury in my 6th]. But the house placements do need to be supported by aspects, as in it's not black and white. [for example my moon is in the 6th usually conj their mercury and I am emotionally tied to the details in my life, being organized - labels, have to vaccum [sp?] every single day, its nauseating- ive been mistaken for a virgo before.. or there would be "Easy" communication aspects like merc conj venus to facilitate positive communication in the area where either person's merc lands in the other's chart]. whew. Interesting! Thanks for your input! Of course I would love it to be as you and EW Neville say, that he'll be all bothered with his Mars in my 5th house. His Mars has some aspects to my planets, opposing my Moon and Merc, sextile Mars, trine Nept. We haven't met yet, he's an online match and we've been emailing everyday, and he's interested in astrology and gave me his birth info this morning! Aquarius man with lots of water... In my own Venus/asc. Aquarian ways, I have to be careful not to get too caught up in the mental exercise of charts, and not be 'present' when we actually meet! lol. IP: Logged |

Capnsag... I have the same thing going on right now. Met a guy on line and clicked instantly, at least mentally. My venus is in his seventh and my mars, jupiter, uranus and pluto are in his fifth. His sun and moon are in my seventh and his mercury, venus and jupiter are in my eighth. I think at this point he is feeling it more so than I am.... I still feel it just not as intensely. I At least not yet. Weirdest part is that I'm a scorp/pisces {sag rising} and he's a triple gemini. You'd think it would be the other way around. IP: Logged | |
