Taurus in general is great. Taurus suns are always way into music, and my best friend who's one is a natural singer.Bono's a Taurus
Robert Smith is a Taurus
Dave Gahan is a Taurus
Stevie Wonder is a Taurus Libra's also very creative and artful... so is Pisces, Sag, Cancer, Capricorn... etc. IP: Logged |

I sooo love singing - just last night I told my b/f that in my next life I'm going to be a singer

I do not know for sure what would make a good singing chart but I sing professionally part time.....I have....... sun-pisces- 5th house
moon-pisces- 5th house
venus-taurus- 7th house
asc-libra
mc-cancer I only have one Taurus in my whole chart except for my vertex in taurus in the 7th house. IP: Logged |

Taurus/Libra on the 2nd or 5th house cusps (talents)...Possibly combined with the AC, Moon, Mercury, and/or Mars in one of these signs/houses as well. Look to aspects from Venus and/or Neptune. The 2nd house rules the throat as well as talent.
I was going to sing professionally but I decided to not take that route (and get into another Venusian one.. Public Relations!). I have Taurus on my 5th and 6th houses. Libra on my 10th, with Venus in Scorpio 11th/12th houses (depending on what house system you use). My Venus is conjunct Mercury (voice) in the 12th (creativity, music). With Mars (strength) in the 2nd house (throat). Venus squares Mars, and trines Jupiter (also luck, to a lesser extent talent) in the 3rd house of voice. I've got some powerful Neptune (in my 1st)/Moon stuff going on as well
I would also look to Pisces on the 2nd/5th/10th and AC, Moon, Mercury and/or Mars in Pisces and in those houses. Look to Neptune and it's aspects.
Neptune, being the higher octave of Venus, is often said to rule music. While Taurus rules singing and Libra rules the arts, themself.

alanabelle86Wow! All the info you posted was interesting. I am very much a novice in chart reading so was you said was useful to me understanding my chart. I noticed I have what i posted earlier: sun-pisces- 5th house
moon-pisces- 5th house
venus-taurus- 7th house
asc-libra
mc-cancer and........ mercury-pisces 5th house
neptune-scorpio- 2nd house It's no wonder music is in my blood! That explains it  Does anyone else out there know what else to look for in ones chart? IP: Logged |

I would disagree that the 2nd house rules "talent" per se. There are talents throughout the zodiac.I would say that Venus is generally involved, and that means not only Taurus, but Libra as well. Also, the 2nd and 7th houses. The 5th house is the house of creativity and self-expression, so that works as well. Neptune modifying Venus also seems to boost creativity to a degree. Water influences can't really be discounted as non-musical. I know GeminiNymph used to have a thing for Pisces Moon singers. IP: Logged |

In my opinion, aspects mean more than signs anyway.
I've heard the 2nd house can be used for talent. Personally, I don't use it. I strictly stick with the 5th house..
