Say for example, the Husband/Father is a Pisces and the Wife/Mother is a Libra,

then you could have the following which is Wife's Ascendant in Scorpio conjuncts the Husband's Moon in Scorpio as this would creat emotional harmony.

The daughter could then have a Libra Ascendant conjunct the mother's Sun in Libra and the daughter's Moon in Leo is conjunct the Father's Asd. in Leo.

All families have a tight conjunction to either the Ascendant, Sun or Moon sign.

Also with friends or close colleagues at work, one would have the Ascendant/Moon conjunction.

Well, let`s see.

My Mum is a Scorpio - sun, Virgo-moon and Cancer-Ascendant.
My Dad is an Aquarius-sun, Taurus-moon and Virgo-ascendant.

the children:

me: Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Aquarius and Ascendant in Sagittarius

my middle brother: Sun in Capricorn, Moon in Scorpio, Ascendant in Aquarius

my youngest brother: Sun in Pisces, Moon in Sagittarius, Ascendant in Pisces

My mum`s Sun is opposite my Dad`s Moon.
My mum`s Sun is square my Dad`s Sun.

just looking at the aspects between Sun, Moon and ASC (but looking at all major aspects):

me:
My Mum`s Moon square my Sun
My Dad`s Ascendant quinkunx my Moon (even though his Venus / Jupiter-conjunction is conjunct my Moon).

my middle brother:
my Mumīs Moon trine his Sun
my Mum`s Moon sextile his Moon

no tight aspects to my father - and it`s true, my brother is very much focused on my mother

my youngest brother:
no aspects between mum and him

his Sun conjuncts my dad`s Descendant
his AC conjuncts my dad`s Descendant
(yes, he does identify more with my dad than with my mum)

I do tend to identify more with my dad (all those Aquarian-traits), but I guess I have a closer, even if sometimes rather tensed relationship with my mother (we love each other dearly, but don`t understand each other. What do you expect with Scorpio, Virgo, CAncer vs Sagittarius, Aquarius, Sagittarius?)

I do identify the most with my brothers, and we share some similiar placements.

My middle brother has his Aquarius - ASC conjunct my Moon.
My youngest brother has his Sagittarius-Moon conjunct my ASC.

There`s also a triple conjunctionb etween us in Pisces; Venus (middle brother), Jupiter (me), ASC and Sun (youngest brother).

I think family astrology is very interesting.
Actually I started a thread on this some time ago, but noone was really interested, I guess.
I also included Draconic planets and was quite amazed at the results.

I have a very tightly connected family, and it has always felt like there was some soulcontract between us going on.
Maybe this is because my middle brother is mentally handicapped, or maybe it is because the mother of my mother died when mum`s youngest sister was only 2 years old (my mum is 15 years older than her), and after my mum married my dad, they decided to take my aunt into our family, when I was about 6 months old. so my aunt is actually my step-sister.
And now I thought this would have to show in our synastry. And I was amazed, plainly amazed by what I found. I looked at the synastry-aspects between my mum and dad and looked, how the planets of us children linked to it (only looking at conjunctions and oppositions).
my middle brother is D, my youngest brother is K and my aunt is T.

In our family dynamics my mother was and still is very fixated on my brother (I read somewhere once that a child's Libra Moon reflects troubles in marriage and the mother's focus intensifies on child as marriage falls apart, this was true in this instance). My sister was "daddy's little girl" and was, out of the three of us, his primary and almost sole focus. I was the oldest however the invisible child. My sister and brother were closer in age and bonded more than either of us separately. I spent a lot of time on my own or with my grandparents.

As I was closest to my grandparents I'll include them.

I haven't yet compared synastry between all my family members, but I've looked at what I have with them involving Sun/Moon/Asc/Karma/Nodes:

With my brother...
My Sun conjuncts his Asc.
My Moon trines his Asc.
My Venus conjuncts his S.Node.
His Venus conjuncts my N.Node.
His Karma conjuncts my Chiron.
My Sun squares his Sun.

With my sister...
My N.Node conjuncts her IC.
My Karma trines her Sun & Moon.
Her Karma conjuncts my Sun & Neptune.
Her Karma trines my Moon.

With my mom...
My Karma aspects her Sun, Moon, Asc, Karma, Mars, and Chiron.
My NN aspects her Sun, Moon, and Asc.
Her Pluto conjuncts my Asc.

With my dad...
His Sun trines my Asc.
His NN squares my Sun and Chiron.
His Karma squares my Saturn. (Our tightest aspect, how appropriate.)

I just noticed that my mom's Karma conjuncts my sister's Sun & Moon. And my dad's Karma conjuncts, to the minute, my sister's Asc.

Me to my Dad - my moon and venus conj his DSC, my sun in the same sign as his moon and venus, my nn conj his asc

Me to my baby - her moon conj my sun, her mars conj my asc [pretty apt transit for giving birth, huh?], my uranus conj her mc, her merc conj my nn, we have opposite rising signs, I have 7th house aquarius with mercury there and she's gemini sun with aquarius rising, I have 5th house with uranus and neptune there and she has neptune conj her asc and uranus in the 1st. We're soulmates

I def see patterns/connections, even to the fourth generation (my kids). My grandmothers Sun extended to both my kids. My son was actually due on her birthday, but decided to wait until the next week My son has Aqua rising at 26*, the same as my mother. My son has my Sag Moon and Mars, and his Sun is conjunct my NN and Saturn.

My daugther has strong Pluto energies: Scorpio rising, 1st house Pluto, Sun/Venus in the 8th. Her Sun is conjunct my fathers Moon. Her Moon is conjunct her brothers Sun.
I find it interesting that both my grandparents have Scorpio Moons, and my dad is husband to a Scorpio
