I've never seen Aries as an eerie sign or a psychic sign..

There is a girl I'm friends with - a Gemini.. She is under the impression that every Aries guy she knows can see right through her. She is very afraid of these guys and feels uncomfortable because she thinks she can't even tell a little fib in their presence, since they would know.. As soon as she'd think of something - they'd know it. This includes 'dislike'.. She was afraid because she thought the last Aries guy she met would *know* that she doesn't like him.. This was someone she needed to impress in an interview so it made her very uncomfortable again.

This struck me as very odd astrologically, because it's the sort of thing you would normally read about Scorpio. It hasn't only happened with one guy either.. So far she counted four different Aries guys (very different ages as well). On all occasions, she had the same eerie (they know what I'm thinking - they see right through me/I can't lie to them) - feeling.

I did mention to her that usually this is said about Scorpio and maybe Pisces. She then said that she understands this because she had a Scorpio coworker..and whenever this coworker asked a question and looked straight at her.. Gem girl knew that no matter what she'd answer Scorp girl already read her.. However she thinks this is very different to the Aries guys - because they didn't need to ask anything.. and they usually never did ask. She had this feeling with them in casual conversation - not just on the spur of the moment or during a pivotal question (like she did with Scorp girl)

She also said she had a Piscean uncle - now passed away.. and he had an interesting aura about him but it was more so like he saw a side of her that was somewhere in the 5th dimension, not HER in the here and now, not what she was up to in the here and now.. so she wasn't afraid of him.
This is again different to the Aries guys who seem to be anticipating her every move.. in the present.

Has anyone else felt like Aries (men specifically), see right through your motives, and can read you to a scary extent? I was surprised because I've never considered Aries scary in this way.. and I don't personally get this feeling around Aries guys.. but I'm an Aries myself so maybe I just don't see it clearly.

I don't get this feeling from aries men at all, but that doesn't mean it isn't so.

All of the aries people I was close friends with shared a telepathy skill with me. We would always be able to tell what and when the other was thinking about one another.

I think all signs can be psychic. It is written up more about scorpios, but that isn't always the case with them. I think they can be perceptive as a group, so that is where the psychic thing came about.

There is something else in the natal chart that would incline one to being psychic. It may be Pluto. It probably has a lot to do with the moon. I would also think neptune would be important.

I doubt it's the sun alone. It could be the sun located in a water house, or in tight aspect to neptune, the moon, or chiron. Most likely it's a combination of the above with very intense aspects.

Aries size people up intuitively and very quickly - don't ask me how - possibly because we like to - and even without a ton of Pisces or Scorp to help us - so maybe that's what your friend's getting at? I have an Aries dad, and I've also noticed with other Aries women that they either like you, or don't like you (instantly), and will give very cut-to-the-crap advice.

Corny though it may seem, there's not generally a settled aura around Aries people. With my dad it's electrical sparks struck off flint, and he will tell you exactly what he thinks, regardless of how brutal it may seem (he is a man of few words, and doesn't take the trouble to phrase things delicately) - and yeah, I do get the feeling with him that he is taking everything in and inwardly digesting, as, like me, he's a rampant opportunist.

With my 80-year-old Aries friend I get a more gentle sparkly feeling - although she has done extensive counselling and healing for many years, she finds me a bit of a mystery, and claims not to be able to work me out. I tell her it's because I can't even fathom myself out!!

Hope this helps.

Love,

Xena

As another Gemini I must say that I also have an eerie feeling about Aries guys, it might (very possibly, heheh) be "normal" attraction, but for me personally people become attractive when they don't fall for my shenanigans and cut right through all my Geminian defences. Aries guys scare me, and intrigue me, in that department

Hmm...I've never gotten that vibe from Aries guys, but I'm sure there are psychic Aries guys out there. I'm a Gemini (read: emotionally shallow) and yet even I can immediately sense when someone is lying to me.

The Aries guy might have some more intuitive helpers around his chart, like possibly a Mercury in Pisces, or a Moon in Scorpio, or his ASC in Uranus/Neptune in 1st house. We shouldn't peg people into one sign, that kind of perpetual pegging can easily put astrology into a disservice.

Sometimes the synastries between two people can tell a lot. The Moon conj. ASC can mean there is no barrier between two people, they can easily pass and read each other and finish each other sentences or even begin their sentences!

Everyone here has made some good points. But I wonder if your friend should take a closer look at HER chart. Maybe these Aries Suns are falling on a sensitive part of her chart. For example, maybe their suns fall in her 12th house. I think this could make anyone sort of uncomfortable, but especially a gemini sun.

quote:
Your Sun in your partner's 12th House: This overlay can be a confusing one. There can be a general sense of mistrust that stems from misunderstanding. In some cases, you might be very fascinated with your partner, as if he or she marches to the beat of a different drummer. However, you may not "get" what he or she is all about, ultimately, and you should avoid finding irrational reasons to mistrust your partner as a result of this. Your actions will have a profound emotional impact on your partner, as you pull up many emotions in him or her. There may be a sense in your partner of having to give up something or to make sacrifices, as being together can bring up some level of pain or heartache, and possibly the need to be secret and private. The relationship can just as easily be very spiritually rewarding.

quote:
Sun 12th house
The placement of the Sun in twelfth house of a partner's chart suggests a somewhat intuitive ability to communicate. You are well "tuned in" to him, and there is a somewhat subconscious connection. You may be something of a "help-mate" to the other, especially with regard to understanding life as a whole. Frequently, this placement brings a complete change of perspective to this person whose twelfth house is visited.

------------------
Sun - Capricorn (10th House)
Moon - Gemini (2nd House)
Mercury - Sagittarius (9th House)
Venus - Aquarius (11th House)
Mars - Aries (12th House)
ASC - Aries

Or maybe she's just a very readable person? Tell her to wear sunglasses!

You know, I think for a Gemini, they can easily get anxious when people try to impose their thoughts onto them. The Geminis are adaptable chameleons afterall... The really frail ones can even *believe* people can easily read them because they flex themselves into what people actually think who she is, mold her, and tell what her "true" secrets are, etc.

I think the key is to assure her that not all Aries men are Svengalis. She needs to be just a little more clever on her part, she is a Gemini afterall, SHE CAN DO IT! And to be true to herself, not to fib around. Don't let anyone else think for her, who she is, because that will really get her thinking and anxious that people control her life and her thoughts. Geminis live in a mental world.. and if powerfully mental people impose on her, then she might as well not exist.

Maybe Aries men get under her skin because Aries are like Geminis, air fans fire. There is really not much different between each other. Both are highly enthusiastic spirits, talkative, exciting, colorful, and each other fuels the another element. She just needs to learn the art of eluding others so she can have this safe distance for her own mental privacy sake. Like a butterfly, which is a Gemini symbol.

Purple, that's a good idea. It could be something in her chart. Maybe Aries falls in her 12th or 8th.. although I am an Aries and she has never had this problem with me.. or other Aries girls.

I'll ask what her birth time is and have a look. Maybe she hasn't had this problem lately.. I haven't seen her in a while.

Thanks Patisserie - I like your nick! She is actually a good actress and she does fib jokingly sometimes, but maybe she could practice eluding on Ariens more lol
