Yes it would make you a deep thinker, and also a powerful speaker. or at least one that draws attention with intensity.

I have mostly everything conjunct Pluto! I am shy and sometimes I feel people never take me seriously because of my shyness & I am too nice...but I do feel the intensity of Pluto (sun in scorpio too) always. I hope when I am older my demeanor will change.

Definately this would make you a deep thinker, able to get to the bottom of anything because Pluto's powerful influence is merged and made one with Mercury thought powers.

I ahve Pluto trine my Mercury/Venus conjunction. Great concentration powers. If I have something to figure out, I will give it great though, almost bordering on obsessive until I figure it out. Pluto gives great research powers also.

I don't have Mercury-Pluto conjunction, but I have them both in 3rd house, and I'd say that applies to me pretty well. I hate all useless nonsense, I'm a pretty good communicator and I like to investigate things further. I'm often very passionate about something that interests me, and I tend to have pretty morbid thoughts. (having Moon in Aries in 8th house doesn't help this...)

I, too, have Venus(9th H) and Mercury(9th H) trine my Pluto(Scorpio, 1st H)... I have a tendency to over analyze things and be drawn to things that force me to do so.. My major is socialwork and I think the placements somewhat explain my drive to be a social worker.
