After hearing on the news that comedian/actor Owen Wilson attempted suicide, I went online to check his astro profile. With Sun,Moon,Mercury in Scorpio and Venus in Capricorn, is there any wonder why this man has trouble coping with emotions and depression? His personal planets weigh so heavily. Also, the scorpio mask that is portrayed to the public as a happy-go-lucky comedian is another pattern I have found with the troubled comedians in hollywood. Knowing everybody is aware of what happened must be excruciating, especially considering his signs. Not just for those in Hollywood, but with people in general, humor often coexists with sadness. etheric distortion unregistered	posted August 28, 2007 05:23 AM i looked up his birthday on Wikipedia ( may or may not be right) Nov 19 1968 as far as harsh transits..(as of today anyway) Tr. saturn is pulling away from his sun..(exact on aug 13) tr. Pluto is in a retro square to his natal pluto, and also squaring his natal chiron (forming a wide...if you use Magi orbs anyway, T-square with tr. pluto at the apex) Tr saturn is also beginning to inconjuct his natal chiron. I don't know when the exact time his suicide attempt was, but if it was very recent,(within the past few days) i'm sure you could probably factor the energy of this mornings lunar eclipse into the astro-equation. ( if you buy into the theory that the energy of full/new moons/and therefore lunar eclipses kinda "builds up" in potency before exactness...which I do).. Anyway..I just thought I'd throw that out there, if only to point out in this thread, some of the "harsher" transits he's going thru..(assuming the B-day is accurate) IP: Logged

But wouldn't something traumatic or life altering show up in the angles of the chart? According to police records, the call to the paramedics came in at 12:08PM PST on Sunday, August 26th. He and Kate Hudson broke up recently, apparently, and now she's seeing some other guy. She went out with him in public that very day. I thought of saturn affecting his sun. It's in an anaretic degree right now, so if the natal is suseptible it's not fun. As for cappies, their ruling planet, saturn is anaretic right now, so the same would apply. Same for aquas - there co-ruler is saturn. I sympathize with capricorns when pluto enters capricorn. It's hell on wheels. Mars, mercury, pallas vesta and jupiter were all in a tight grand cross ( mercury squaring mars in this configuration could've added "fire from the heavens" in an argumentative sense. also venus opposed neptune and they both formed a t-square to ceres ( pretty tight at the time as well) seems like a great time to get drunk and argue with friends to me IP: Logged
