I have always pondered this question. Due to the fact that Pluto's orbit is so eliptical it sometimes intersects Pluto to become the second to last planet (or now planetoid). I am betting that has some astrological significance but what really?I read in this book Hades Moon (recommend to ppl with Moon/Pluto contacts by Judy Hall) that it is a time when the veils of Neptune are lifted for the harsh clarity of the secrets of Pluto. I was wondering if anyone can elaborate on that? ------------------ Sun-Gemini Moon-Scorpio ASC-Libra IP: Logged |

Well, all planets have elliptical orbits, but Pluto's is highly eccentric and on a different plane from the other planets(look this up to learn more 'cause it's too complex to abbreviate). But, moving on, I heard somewhere that this signifies Pluto's crossing back and forth between the underworld/death/submersion and earth/life/resurfacing etc. Not much, but if I find the source I'll post it.IP: Logged |

I think neptune and pluto are fundamentally connected and part of the same process of spirituality and other worldly clarity (neptune) that becomes realized on this plane in a very deep way (pluto). They require each other and are often in aspect to the same planet in a natal chart. IP: Logged |

Whoa, I can actually say that that is very true for my own chart.
