There are some good cancers and some bad cancers...

my mom is a great cancer always caring and supportive and motherly, she feels the most pain if the family doesn’t function right so she tries her best to keep everyone happy. Of course you can’t keep everyone happy. She has her moments where she has to be alone and in her own space for a while to get over things.

But my dad is a horrible cancer, sort of like belgz he thinks he’s everything, he thinks he’s all that, by that I mean he thinks he’s better then everyone, Keep in mind belgz you started the thread “why cancers are so great” so you are implying” some self arrogance.

He’s also vary hypocritical he says not to do things, but he ends up doing it as well……my ex boss also a cancer was like that as well, he got vary emotional when I said I quit. To the point of being a complete ******* , of course my departure would be a greater loss for him, he didn’t have to be an ******* like that.

But with both my dad and ex cancer boss we will argue over things and things that they do sorta like what your doing belgz.

But since I made myself like a son to both of them they both treat me like family, so it was always treated as nothing serious. That’s one of the keys to cancers, its about feeling and working like a family.

Someone with simmilar cancer placments as you, might have them all in conjunction while you have them all semi-square.

This could change everything around personality wise.

So you could hate one cancer personality wise and love another if there chart has a lot of diffrent interacting planets.

You'd be sterotyping if you said that i bumped into a cancer called belgz so now I hate all cancers. Of course thats completly wrong so i'd disagre.

Do I hate cancers??? the answer is no!!!
I think you just have to know how to deal with them.

As I said I spent my entire life living around two cancers...and like all signs they show there best and worst moments.

belgz i have to say your exactly like my dad and my ex cancer boss...lol and i've seen both there shining moments and there bad days.

He's also admitted that his "I'm very comfortable in my own shell" demeanor, which often comes across as arrogance is a way of hiding the fact that he's very shy so, he over compensates.

He cannot deal with intimacy in any way, shape or form and uses humor to diffuse even the most potentially romantic situation! It's akin to having a bucket of cold water thrown on you, just when you're beginning to feel that warm, tingly feeling.

He also may be very aware of his own sensitivity and feelings but - he seems pretty clueless about how his actions affect others or could be misinterpreted by others.

Then, there's the selfless lover who loves to snuggle, is easy to "hang out" with and will tear up when he discusses his experiences in the war or his child's illness as a baby.

I guess my point is that like EVERY other sign, Cancers have their attributes and their faults and for the life of me, I can't understand why a thread like this doesn't simply end with the acknowledgment of that fact in a matter of two postings max!!!

Instead, we haggle, argue, throw insults around AND give a thread that is one of the many meant to arouse a response more energy than it deserves!
