Why does the "belgz hotline" thread have 23 replies (and the anti-pisces thread has 115 posts!), while posts discussing what certain placements mean or asking for much more legit chart interpretation help often have far fewer replies, sometimes no replies?

So many interpretations of aspects and placements available online and in books aren't nearly as useful, either for experienced or neophyte astrologers, as a lively discussion of how these aspects actually play out in real people's lives. It can also be very helpful to discuss the interpretation of a real person's chart as a whole, or to discuss transits or synastry.

My suggestion is, the next time any of us feels irritated by a troll, instead of replying to their post, reply to a legitimate post that has only a few replies, and that delves deeply into complex astrological issues.

I try not to pay any attention to the trolly threads - if I do, I reply and get it over with.

If people get this mad about some namesless faceless person that they don't know, well, what will they do when they are facing a real crisis? I guess I'm just used to **** like this, (I've had Pluto in my life touching five friggin' planets for 15 years) so I just don't care.

Ask yourself one thing before getting mad (and paying attention to a troll) do they even matter? I think your answer will be a resounding NO!

And, just for the record- MUSTANG- If you read one of my post carefully I said that ALL this didn't take away my sleep. I don't make of this forum my life, but I enjoy coming here and reading/asking/writing about Astrology; therefore it bothered me to see all those senseless threads.

And felt like speaking up.

I think you like the drama or you wouldn't have started ANOTHER thread giving the trolls exactly what they want.I find it odd that you don't like that there are threads unrelated to astrology, but then you start one of your own. Not only is it counterintuitive, but it's giving them the attention that they crave. You're just feeding into what they they want, ya know.

Why don't you just not read their threads if they bother you so much? (See above paragraph for answer )
It's like those people who complain about certain music or tv programs - turn the channel!

Besides, I didn't jump at you for having a different point of view, BUT because you made an "observation about human behavior" (that as a human being I felt included) and because, after all, like you said, it was ME who started the thread.

You like to judge. But you don't know anything about me, so don't make assumptions about the way I am.

If u are so balanced and not "thin-skinned" like me, then you should just ignore all this 'screaming for drama thread'
