Topic: Tobey got me thinking…

Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum and I thought I might share some personal astro explorations…
I read some of C.P. Tobey’s book recently and was intrigued by how he rectified his asc and whole houses degrees (basically he checked transits for important events in his life and found they triggered 22nd degree not 21st which was his Asc.) And since I was looking for ways to check if my Asc degree is correct I did the same – I pulled some charts for different events in my life and checked planet positions. Findings: interesting. I could not verify my Asc degree, nor was I able to discard it. What I did find with my 4 charts is they all have a planet at 4th degree…And I actually do not have any planets or points at that degree. The closest are Moon @ 3 Taurus, NN at 0 Sag 55 and Pluto @ 6 lib 31. Granted I have only a few charts to work with (I am racking my brain to come up with additional ones) but I am wondering, has anyone done something similar? How did it work out for you? Sorry for the long post.
