Venus is there for love and some say, for money.
I have Venus sextile Mars (have no problem to have best men).
I have also Venus (8th) trine Pholus in 4th and don't know, what that means.
There is Venus opposition Lillith. I really don't know, how bad is that for me.

What about your Venus and aspects?

Venus in Scorpio
Good: Lots of passion, intensity, and drama (My Leo Moon loves drama)
Bad: I can get possessive, and wow..the jealousy is ridiculous (amplified by Sun/Pluto conj. I'm sure)

Venus in the 11th house
Good: I have pretty friends (inside and out), I can be friends with almost anyone
Bad: Friends one day, lover the next, then friends, then strangers, then lovers, then friends....then lovers...etc. I also can't date anyone I'm not friends with, this is makes it hard for me to meet people without other intentions. (I.E: Meeting someone just so we can become friends just so I can woo them into dating...)

Aspects wise..

Venus conjunct Mercury
Good: Talents galore when it comes to anything regarding communication..writing, speaking, multi-tasking, flirting...I'm also very persuasive when I want to be
Bad: Sugarcoating my words. Also, indecisiveness

Venus trine Jupiter
Good: Natural luck, generally positive relations with everyone I know
Bad: Excess shopping and material desire, also a tendency to be too indulgent in all of Venus' areas...(flirting, shopping, "treating myself")

Venus square Mars - sex appeal like a mofo, turbulent relationships...
Venus square Moon - I see this as the emotional curse...emotional eating, shopping, dating...you name it..

Conjunct Mercury:
good: I can relate to what alanabelle86 mentioned, although I don't really show these qualities easily (coz of my shy Virgo ascendant I guess).. ^_^ I can be very passionate in my ways of communications as well.. And I can also be very diplomatic and soft.
bad: unable to be harsh to others even when it's necessary..

Conjunct Moon:
good: it's easy to express my emotions through affections.
bad: can intensify the bad sides of my Aries Venus's love in an emotional way.

Trine Uranus:
good: inventiveness, creativity and intelligence.. love for what's new and original.. interest in people.
bad: can be easily bored and lose interest if I find something/someone turning out to be uninteresting..

and there is Venus trine Jupiter (the best aspect): some of you have really turbulent and hot life.
Venus square Mars:
I have seen that such a woman can't be without man, until we with Venus sextile Mars can be alone for longer time.

Venus in 11th
Good: Attraction to artsy-fartsy ppl. Gives ‘healthy’ detachment to relationships. Close but not too close.
Bad: Yeah, lines between friendship/romance can get blurred. Seeing random friends as potentials. Then getting to know them better and corralling them into the friends zzzone.

Venus opp Jupiter
Good: Splurging on self, family, friends. Good times, good food, good music, nice clothes, alcohol.
Bad: Charging up the card. Lazy. I think it fosters princess behavior too (my badd…)

Venus opp Uranus
Good: Detachment?
Bad: I’m not sure if I like this placement. It’s my tightest aspect (0 degs). I think it kind of cultivates the ‘grass is greener on the other side’ mentality. I read somewhere that it causes natives to feel a relationship is not worth maintaining if it requires too much change and effort. That’s when the ‘I need my space’ card gets drawn. Pretty immature, huh? I’m not sure if other ppl with Venus/Ura hard aspects feel this way too… but have you abandoned ppl in the past, but were a bit shaken when other ppl beat you to the punch? Not good.

Well in spite of all of the above placements, I’ve got a stellium in Taurus to offset all the fickle (not the lazy, but def the fickle). I am pretty loyal. And the Venus opp Ura is something I’m learning to manage cos I find evasive behavior a little stupid and hurtful now.

Venus in the 3rd house
(Bad) Takes me longer than most people to really open up partly b/c I'm so comfortable with the (Good) light, fun part of relationships.
I also love books, school, & good conversation. I enjoy travelling. I'll take whatever I can get, but I prefer long travels to short ones (maybe b/c I'm a Sag).

Venus trine Mars
I like sex. A lot.

Venus trine Jupiter
I like having a good time. A lot.

Venus trine Chiron
I think of this one as appreciating life's beauty even more so b/c of knowing its pain.

Venus square Pluto
This one's wide (8º), but I feel it. Maybe it's strong for me b/c Pluto is my chart ruler & Venus is my 7th house ruler. I'm all or nothing with relationships. I have no interest in committing myself to someone who I don't feel a very strong connection with mentally, physically, & emotionally.
