the void-of-course-moon is a concept that makes a lot of sense in horary astrology; where the aspects that the moon is GOING TO MAKE describe *the future* of the question (what is going to happen regarding that question). same way, the last aspect the horary moon WILL MAKE signifies how the matter will be concluded.

that concept makes no sense in natal astrology. one can have that moon with NO APPLYING aspects, but it could have parting aspects, so it wouldn't be PEREGRINE. A NO ASPECTS moon or any planet in a natal chart is a planet that becomes very imp as it acts without taking other planets/needs under consideration. it will do its own thing, regerdless. BUT that is by no means the same thing as the VOC moon!

the only way it would make some sort of sense is by Solar Arcs - when aspects are completed (ie exact), the SA is active. but then again, it still is wrong, bc the VOC implies no aspect UNTILL LEAVING THE SIGN - that means absolutely nothing in natal astrology.

and on top of it all - the VOC moon depends on 'major' aspects - only conj's, squares, opp's count. But in a natal chart, the so called minor are quite telling - and by no means ignorable.

so, the short version of this long post: there is no "VOC Moon" in natal astrology. That concept means smt in the context of horary/electional astrology.

PS of course, if there is some fancy astrologer in the world who figures it does mean smt, I'm sure he/she also has the key to interpret it. and we'd all be happy to have one more theory to play with.
